Did the maker meet your deadline?
Didn’t have any deadline.
But in the progress they told me they’d get it done
this month (April) which didn’t happen. I’ve then
told them i’d like it to be ready for Eurofurence
which happened (The package arrived at the starting
day of EF, without my mother i wouldn’t have been
able to get it).

Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
I’ve told them multiple times, that i’m a bit
annoyed, that they wouldn’t respond to me. I’ve
also told them, when i didn’t like how they cut out
the fur for my tail (they did not show me a pattern,
the picture of the cut out fur was the first i got)
which they fixed.

How many hours have you worn/used the item(s) you’re reviewing?

The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the hands and feet of the costume.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.

The paws are comfortable to wear, even though they
are not lined inside (i don’t really care about
lining). I can put them on easily and they are long
enough, so no skin shows when wearing them with
clothes. I can move my hands easily. The paws are
a bit too big though, if i don’t tuck them under
my clothes they will slide off when hanging my arms
down. Even though i sent hand measurements.

The seam of one paw pad was already popped when i
recieced them, 2 more popped after Eurofurence.
The seams are a very basic stitch, that doesn’t seem
to be enough with fake leather. I could pull off
the pads easily if i wanted to.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.

The markings and colors match the character design,
the shape looks good and symmetrical.
I like that they shaved the fingers and let the rest
of the fur long, the transition looks fine. The
shaving on the fingers is kinda messy, especially
at the edges of the seams (fur was also sewn in
the seams).

They completely forgot my claws. The reason they
told me was not enough time.

I also feel like the fur on the fingers could’ve
been shorter but that’s just preference.

The fur has good quality and looks/feels very nice.

One thing i’ve noticed, is that the paw pads fold
when i move my hand because they are so big and
not stuffed. Doesn’t look too great.

The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the tail(s) of the costume.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.

The tail is easy to put on. I really like how light
the tail is, that’s good for wearing. It’s flexible,
which i sepcifically asked for.

However, it’s a bit twisted, which leads to it
constantly tangling between my legs (it’s a miracle,
i haven’t tripped over it yet).

The seams don’t seem to be very durable either, the
straps popped off nearly completely after EF. The
seams in the fur also had 3 holes after the con.

The makers put a hard round plate into the base
of the tail, they never told me which material it is.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.

It is not symmetrical, as it is twisted.

The transitions between the fur scraps do not always
match together completely, creating unwanted sharp

Colors are the ones i requested, fur quality is
great and the markings match the character design.

The following questions ask how satisfied you are with the overall visual aspects associated with the costume.

How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art?
If there was no concept art, please state N/A
Very satisfied. Colors and markings match concept art.

How satisfied are you with how well everything fits together and matches up?
Do you markings match up at the seams? Are the colors consistent?
The markings don’t always match up at the seams.
Colors are consistent.

The following questions ask how satisfied you are with all the aspects of communication between you and the maker.

How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Initial contact was great. Fast responses with very
detailled information.

How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take them to respond?
In the beginning they were very fast with responses
but after i paid contact froze (as there wasn’t
anything to talk about of course). I started asking
for progress updates and they were becoming slower
and slower with responses while time passes. They
wouldn’t respond at all for days or even weeks.
After the tail was done i didn’t get any answers
for a whole month, despite of asking a couple times.
They then told me facebook wasn’t the place, where
their conversations were held (even though i’ve
talked to them over it all the time and they never
mentioned it was a problem.). We then switched to
emails, where i was ignored too.

How satisfied are you with how the deadline was met for completion of your project?
Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
As there was no deadline, i can’t judge.
But it was a bit disappointing that they took so
long and weren’t even able to finish the product
(claws) or offer good quality.

How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
Not satisfied at all. The durability is awful. I’m lucky that i know how to sew and build suits myself,
otherwise i would’ve needed other people to help me repair all the flaws.

I can’t however fix the paw pads because i would
have to open the seams of the fur to be able to
reach the backing to sew them back on but it
wouldn’t be worth the effort.

How satisfied are you with the overall customer service and professionalism of the maker?
Not satisfied at all.
I constantly felt ignored by them not answering me.

The sudden change to another message method also
felt really fishy to me.

They asked me if it was ok for me if they’d send
my products to another customer in my country who
would give me my things at Eurofurence to be able to spend more money into a faster shipping method, which is a big NO GO!
They respected it and even spend more money for
the shipping out of their own pockets, so it would
arrive in time for Eurofurence, which was nice

They also never showed me the paws before shipping,
they sent me a picture when the package was already on it’s way, which is also unnaccaptable!

They told me they’d send me claws so i could attach them later. At this point i was really angry.
I’ve asked them one time if they would ship the
claws but never got a response or the claws.
Then i just gave up and used my own paws.

Describe your experience. What were the pros and cons of working with this maker? And any final comments?
They use good quality products and are very easy
to contact (only in the beginning). Their overall
style looks pretty nice.

Bad durability and overall flaws in the product
itself. It all just felt kinda rushed.
Sudden drop of communication after payment.

I just feel like it wasn’t worth what i payed for
and yes, suits can be damaged after wearing them
but i don’t expect it to come with already popped
seams and i also don’t expect it to fall apart
after a couple wears. The makers have potential,
their style looks great. But they definetly need
to work on customer service and organizing their
time, so they don’t have to rush and throw out a
mediocre product, that could’ve easily been better.
