Are you reviewing a friend?
Do you have any prior experience with fursuits?
Yes, Wizkit owns 4 total suits, and is expecting one to come in from commission and one that will be traded for. Traxon makes them.

If you have sold the item since this review, how much did you sell for?
Did the maker meet your deadline?
Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
Wizkit did not inform Craig of most issues, however she did have the hand paws remade. She did not know of much more than there were pins left in the head and feet foam, which she too kindly dismissed because it was a rush order. As a maker myself (Traxon), I looked over the suit and was able to assess the issues with the suit and bring it up to the maker, in which he quickly lashed back with “Well wizkit did not bring this up”. The maker knew that there were issues, however he only ever made excuses with me (traxon) such as the fact pins were left in because he was just so rushed.
How many hours have you worn/used the item(s) you’re reviewing?
Give your best estimate.
The fit of the head is pretty comfortable. There were pins still shoved in several areas of the foamwork. It is not lined, but it is still pretty comfortable. Ventilation is pretty nice, and the vision is great aside from a slightly worse than usual “under the muzzle” blind spot.
The sleeves are comfortable despite all of the spot markings falling apart.
The feet are quite comfortable, and the claws are up high enough to avoid scuffs, while not being so high they look out of place. The bottoms have held up great.
The hands had to be remade and are still incredibly uncomfortable to wear. It is hard to differentiate which handpaw is which, and the thumb and pinky spots are maybe an inch and a half making it nearly impossible to wear them since it crunches those fingers.
The markings are very accurate and symmetrical. The base is also very nice. The face was not shaved, but it was short fur. It seems to be very low quality though, and up close you can see that it is sparse and many spots have the appearance of “shaved to the backing” luxury shag. The transition to the cheeks looks great. The fur is very soft and where it is shag looks good. It can be brushed easily. Wizkit (the owner) is satisfied, it was meant to be a grump suit. However I (Traxon), feel that the eyebrows could have been better exaggerated. It has follow me eyes, but they are so shallow it is hard to get various looks / expressions and such with them. It matches the concept great.
The hands are very uncomfortable. The pinky and thumb are too short, and the middle two fingers are large and make it feel flimsy. They are a good length so they don’t really show skin. They stay on pretty nice. The hands were remade and the new seams are decent. They are not lined but that’s okay.
The feet are alright. They fit snugly and do allow good movement. The ankle sleeve area is essentially form fitted, making it hard for skin to show. It is kinda hard to get them on, and would be much easier if they had a zipper or velcro. The edge is lined. The bottoms have not fallen off, but one claw has begun to fall off. The felt edging is loose on most claws. The shoe inside is just a cloth based slip on shoe. The claws are scuffed, but that is to be expected (especially with heavy use).
The hands are not very pretty, the pawpads are minky, but they are very uneven and seem like the maker did not care about them much. Very poorly done symmetry / looks wise. They are good fur that can be brushed well. The claws are askew and don’t point forward like they should.
The feet are alright, the only issue is that the claws are only really glued into the fur, not the foam, making them wiggly and a bit uneven. The base is purple luxury shag, and is easily taken care of. The toes are the poor quality lavender fur used on the face.
The colors are accurate.
The tail is easy to wear, standard two elastic straps. It has held up well, and it is stuffed nicely.
The symmetry is nice, it is normal faux fur so it can be brushed easily, the colors are well picked. The shape is good.
How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art?
If there was no concept art, please state N/A
It matches quite well and both the owner (Wizkit) and I (Traxon) are satisfied.
How satisfied are you with how well everything fits together and matches up?
Do you markings match up at the seams? Are the colors consistent?
The markings match up where they need to and the colors are consistent.
How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
It was very easy, and there was good contact.
How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take them to respond?
They were very quick and easy to work with, a lot of wip pictures were sent.
How satisfied are you with how the deadline was met for completion of your project?
Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
It was done just in time.
How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
After taking a close look together, neither of us are happy at all. Much of the issues were hidden with the fur brushed over it or masked behind “it was a rush order”. Unfortunately Wizkit is not a maker, so she did not know how poor the stitching is until I (Traxon) looked over it with her to have it fixed up.
How satisfied are you with the overall customer service and professionalism of the maker?
During the process of ordering Wizkit was very happy with the maker. He was happy to remake the paws as well (which are the current pair).
I contacted him with Wizkit’s permission to see if he continues to do the poor practices, especially since he charges $1000+ a partial now. He avoided my questions, only seeing the photos and telling me “well she didn’t tell me about the problems”, and disregarding when I sent him a message from Wizkit confirming she did not contact him because she didn’t know how badly done the partial was, and she thought that the spot markings coming apart were her fault. When I continued to try talking with him and tell him that pins being left in fursuits and other poor practices he has been doing were unacceptable, he simply told me “u are very rude I have to go to work”. Very unprofessional, especially since he cannot own up to his own poor work.
Describe your experience. What were the pros and cons of working with this maker? And any final comments?
The original process of commissioning was easy on Wizkit, and they received the partial in a speedy manner. I wanted to help with the review (traxon), because after looking over the head for what I assumed was just going to be a muzzle marking repair and some stitches on the ear, we realized how poorly done the partial was. Personally I would avoid him by any means, his main pro is that he is a quick maker if need be (however due to skimping on quality). However, with his work being $1000+ now, you would be much better off commissioning someone who cares about the product they are creating.
