Did the maker meet your deadline?
Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
Yes,but due to language barriers it was hard.
They never told me the paws were not fully finished, nor did they provide photos of the underside of the paws which were not finished.
How many hours have you worn/used the item(s) you’re reviewing?
Give your best estimate.
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the head of the fursuit. If you are reviewing only a set of ears, your answers would also go in this section.
The lining was slapped in and holes ripped out for the eyes, mouth and so on.
I had to fix the lining since it was coming out, exposing foam and whatever else the head is made of.
It’s hard to get on,even though it’s supposed to fit a 25′ head.
Once it’s on,it has the kind of eyesight you’d expect from a realistic head.
It’s somewhat tight,I can’t wear it very long and breathing can become hard at times.
The ventilation is mediocre,I often have to take the time to breath in more then I usually do.
My face tends to get smashed inside at times.
Some of the shaving was done wrong/cut too short that I had to fix the best I could with proper brushing.
The concept art was made after I purchased the head.
The symmetry is fine,I love the look of the head and the eyes are beautiful and follow nicely.
The special cast tounge, teeth and lips are a nice touch.
I can brush it fine with minimal shedding, the fur is soft and nice quality.
The horns are fine,basic/simple construction.
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the hands and feet of the fursuit.
The paws were not fully finished, the maker never said anything about this so I have to work with what I have.
The [inside] of the paws are lined with three sheets of plastic for some reason and only go up so far, which makes no sense.
The overall structure of the paws is nice, the claws are nice.
No paw pads, little detailing to each finger.
The inside is one big mitten,no where for my fingers to go,so I have to take care in when I wave so it doesn’t flop around like some cheap mascot costume hand.
The feet are great,I had someone else make them.
The plastic stuff on the inside of the paws was unnessasary.
The paws were never fully furred.
The fingers were not sectioned off, turning the paws into mittens.
The feet were not made by this maker.
The feet are great and look great.
Claws are nice.
The paws tend to slide down.
No sections for fingers.
Not fully furred.
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the tail(s) of the fursuit.
The tail fit fine.
But the top seam ripped, which I had to repair.
I also found out the maker stuffed a yard of random felt inside so I had to pop seams and restuff it and resew it by myself.
If I hadn’t,it would have remained sad and floppy.
Now that I fixed the tail,it looks great.
Before it was sad, floppy and lumpy.
Now that I fixed the tail,it looks great.
Even has a bit of a curve and way more bounce/life to it.
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with the overall visual aspects associated with the fursuit.
How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art?
If there was no concept art, please state N/A
How satisfied are you with how well everything fits together and matches up?
Do you markings match up at the seams? Are the colors consistent?
There were no markings,it was a simple double toned fur.
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with all the aspects of communication between you and the maker.
How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
There was no quote,it was an auction.
How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take them to respond?
It took too long and was hard to communicate with them.
How satisfied are you with the level of professionalism and friendliness of the maker?
Were they pleasant to work with?
They were nice but they didn’t seem considered with quality all that much.
How satisfied are you with how the deadline was met for completion of your project?
Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
There was no deadline.
How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
The quality is fine,it’s just the execution I’m going to have to fix up on my own.
How satisfied are you with the overall customer service with the maker?
But like I said, they were nice.
Describe your experience. What were the pros and cons of working with this maker? And any final comments?
I wish they would have stated any flaws or unfinished parts of the suit.
It was not worth the amount of money I payed them, even though the suit itself is wearable and looks presentable.
The language barrier was hard, and they often blew things off and seemed careless for the lack of quality they put into their work.
The felt in the tail was just shoved in,sloppy,a leftover bit.
I’m going to have to fix a lot of the suit by myself.
