[NO] Lucy Tail & Handpaws by FuzzWorks
General InformationGives some information about the item and the person writing the review.
I’ve also started making my first Fursuit shortly after comissioning these parts.
I have worn my partial multiple times before recieving their parts. I also have upgraded my partial to a fullbody now.

Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The paws are comfortable to wear, even though they are not lined inside (i don’t really care about lining). I can put them on easily and they are long enough, so no skin shows when wearing them with clothes. I can move my hands easily. The paws are a bit too big though, if i don’t tuck them under my clothes they will slide off when hanging my arms down. Even though i sent hand measurements.
The seam of one paw pad was already popped when i recieced them, 2 more popped after Eurofurence.
The seams are a very basic stitch, that doesn’t seem to be enough with fake leather. I could pull off the pads easily if i wanted to.
The markings and colors match the character design, the shape looks good and symmetrical.
I like that they shaved the fingers and let the rest of the fur long, the transition looks fine. The shaving on the fingers is kinda messy, especially at the edges of the seams (fur was also sewn in the seams).

They completely forgot my claws. The reason they told me was not enough time.
I also feel like the fur on the fingers could’ve been shorter but that’s just preference.
The fur has good quality and looks/feels very nice.
One thing i’ve noticed, is that the paw pads fold when i move my hand because they are so big and not stuffed. Doesn’t look too great.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
The tail is easy to put on. I really like how light the tail is, that’s good for wearing. It’s flexible, which i sepcifically asked for.
However, it’s a bit twisted, which leads to it constantly tangling between my legs (it’s a miracle, i haven’t tripped over it yet).
The seams don’t seem to be very durable either, the straps popped off nearly completely after EF. The seams in the fur also had 3 holes after the con.
The makers put a hard round plate into the base of the tail, they never told me which material it is.
It is not symmetrical, as it is twisted.

The transitions between the fur scraps do not always match together completely, creating unwanted sharp edges.
Colors are the ones i requested, fur quality is great and the markings match the character design.
OverallHow satisfied the reviewer is with the overall buying experience, including their interactions with the maker and the resulting final product.
Very satisfied. Colors and markings match concept art.
Colors are consistent.
I can’t however fix the paw pads because i would have to open the seams of the fur to be able to reach the backing to sew them back on but it wouldn’t be worth the effort.
They then told me facebook wasn’t the place, where their conversations were held (even though i’ve talked to them over it all the time and they never mentioned it was a problem.). We then switched to emails, where i was ignored too.
I constantly felt ignored by them not answering me.
The sudden change to another message method also felt really fishy to me.
They asked me if it was ok for me if they’d send my products to another customer in my country who would give me my things at Eurofurence to be able to spend more money into a faster shipping method, which is a big NO GO! They respected it and even spend more money for the shipping out of their own pockets, so it would arrive in time for Eurofurence, which was nice though!
They also never showed me the paws before shipping, they sent me a picture when the package was already on it’s way, which is also unnaccaptable!
They told me they’d send me claws so i could attach them later. At this point i was really angry. I’ve asked them one time if they would ship the claws but never got a response or the claws.
Then i just gave up and used my own paws.
But it was a bit disappointing that they took so long and weren’t even able to finish the product (claws) or offer good quality.
Rating
Pros:
They use good quality products and are very easy to contact (only in the beginning). Their overall style looks pretty nice.
Cons.
Bad durability and overall flaws in the product itself. It all just felt kinda rushed. Sudden drop of communication after payment.
I just feel like it wasn’t worth what i payed for and yes, suits can be damaged after wearing them but i don’t expect it to come with already popped seams and i also don’t expect it to fall apart after a couple wears. The makers have potential, their style looks great. But they definetly need to work on customer service and organizing their time, so they don’t have to rush and throw out a mediocre product, that could’ve easily been better.
