The head fits pretty well even with glasses on. Ventilation could be better but it’s do-able. Vision is pretty good too. Biggest issue with the head is on the inside there was exposed foam around the eyes, that area was not lined and resulted to eye/throat irritation for me unfortunately so I lined it myself.
The symmetry is very good. The shaving job on her face is wonderful WP did a great job and the fur looks good. the expression is adorable and I really like how the head overall looks. The head matches the concept art pretty well but the her hair does not have the volume to it I requested. Photos were sent to me of layers WP was going to use/pile on top to add volume but for whatever reason that was not actually completed.
WP created a nose ring for the head that was in two pieces and to attach them to the head you stuck them though the nostrils and there were magnets on the ends that kept it in place. Unfortunately the magnets fell off the first day I had the suit.. along with the balls on the ends of the ring halves. The glue that was used to attach all the parts was not cured and still sticky so I had to trash it and make my own. Also there was paint rubbed off in/on the nose from the ring she had put in it.. I had to use paint thinner to get it off.
Anchor also has hair spools. WP made these for the head and they look wonderful. the shape is pretty much spot on but the only downfall is they are heavy and cause the hair tufts they are attached to to move around a lot and its slightly irritating so I’ve had to pin them the best i can to the neck fur but the weight pulls on the neck fur and makes it look weird so I’m going to have to make another lighter pair myself.
The hands and feet are visually enjoyable. Unfortunately these are the biggest issues. I’ve had to just trash the hands. The hands don’t fit at all. fingers were too long or too short on both hands.. way too loose and with the weight of the DVC finger hoof caps it was literally impossible to keep them on my fingers (that part is not her fault) but the fact the hands didn’t fit period made it even worse.. Even my fiancee who has bigger hands/longer fingers than me could not wear them. WP did not take a hand tracing only a couple of measurements for my hands. The hands were also not lined and really just a mess.
The feet were built on shoes i sent her but they are really kinda hard to get on my feet. I have to struggle to pull them on. Once i get them on they are snug which is a good thing i think. But the bottom of the hooves were not sealed off right.. exposed foam will have to be sealed by myself to avoid water contamination..
The sleeves look great but don’t fit at all. With the amount of time from the start of the project to the end of it my arm measurements had changed so this is yet again another part of the suit I can not use and will have to make myself.
The hands regardless of having to be trashed were not shaved and really should have been.
And again with the hooves.. not sealed off properly and are exposed to moisture and other things.
The tails don’t have a solid base so they hang wear. WP used regular fleece to make the belt loops with so that stretched in the first use.. so its another thing i’m going to have to fix. other than that they look cute.
pretty pleased, again the hair volume was not done to my specifications as mentioned above so I’ll have to fix it. But other than that I really like the face.
Pretty satisfied besides the useless hands and sleeves. Colors are not 100% because WP did not order enough at the beginning of the project so after years passed and she ordered more to finish Anchor the batches dye colors did not match up 100% resulting in some color difference.
very.
pretty satisfied.

Pros: WP is great at carving bases and expressions. She is very talented fur shaver too. Pretty good at replying to messages. She was pretty nice through the whole project. She does cute work for sure!
Cons: The amount of time waited compared to the quality of what I got. I understand not taking deadlines.. but with the amount of time I waited and things that happend within that time like others that had only been waiting a few months while I had been well over a year being pushed ahead of me and completed, Not enough fur being ordered resulting in color difference, the project being rushed at the last moment and shipped out in a box loose, nothing protecting the suit. Everything was just tossed into a box as is and sent. Thank goodness nothing was damaged while in transit to my house. All the extra fur/scraps left over was thrown into a bag all wadded up and crinkled. Even some random trash pieces of fur were thrown in to the box. fur flew everywhere when I opened the box and there was lots of loose fur in the head too I had to clean out. and the hands being really weird with really long or short fingers and the sleeves not fitting at all.. I guess that’s everything. I have a lot of work to do on her still on literally every piece of this partial. So with the wait time.. can’t say I’m too happy. I’d like to add in that after the amount of time I had waited I asked her to ship Anchor to me incomplete and work out a refund for the difference of work not completed. I was tired waiting and seeing other people get finished who had be waiting less time. I suspect this being the reason things were rushed.
