HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
My head is actually really comfortable and easy to see out of. It fits my head perfectly right out of the box and is snug but not tight. It was lined with a balaclava and it absorbs sweat quite well. The ventilation is good but not great but having a fan seems to fix that for me. Compared to other heads I own, this head is by far the nicest to wear.
I would say that I am pretty satisfied with how it came out. It has good symmetry and the shaving is even across the fur. The fur is nice and soft as apposed to the cheap feeling some furs give you. The expression was spot on with my concept art and I love how it turned out.
BodyGives information about the main body of the costume. If reviewing a separate set of pants/legs or torso, the answers would also go in this section.
This body was really nice to put on. It has a front zipper for easy in and out as well as it fitting perfectly for me. I have washed it a couple of times and it holds up great! The zipper is really strong and all the sewing stayed together. There is no lining so I wear underarmor under it to protect the fur. In terms of airflow, its decent honestly. You can feel the breeze through the suit very easily which definitely helps with heat.
I think the body came out amazing! It had my symbol on the back from my concept art and it was super clear as well as being symmetrical. Not to mention that it’s super soft and nice fur, haven’t had any issues with knotting or bald spots. Also the shaving was even. I love the colors, the maker helped my pick the colors that matched what I was looking for and it came out just like my ref.
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The hands are a bit tricky to put on in suit and a bit hard to keep on sometimes. I solved that with a safety pin and that seems to work great. Also the hands are really nice for dextarity. The feet are perfect, super comfortable to wear for long periods of time and super soft (if you get sock paws). The quality is really high and haven’t had any issues with seems popping or damaged fur. The feet have lining but the hand paws do not.
I think they both look amazing and matched my concept art! Everything is nice and evenly shaven and the fur is nice and soft with no damage. The colors match the rest of my suit so super happy with that.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
The tail is definitely really nice to wear. It’s big and fluffy but easy to walk around with. The tail has a super tough belt loop so it won’t break off like other tails I have had. The tail hasn’t been washed but it has had someone try to pull it off and it didn’t break off.
The tail matches what I was looking for exactly! The concept art sent is exactly the way the tail came out. There wasn’t much shaving on the tail but it was even where it was. The fur is super soft and no damage on the fur.
OverallHow satisfied the reviewer is with the overall buying experience, including their interactions with the maker and the resulting final product.
The maker was super nice and let me know exactly when was happening during the whole process. Made sure I was okay with everything before continuing and even did a final check before shipping. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with this maker and I’m super happy with how the suit came out.
