HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.

Wear Satisfaction How satisfying this piece is to wear with regard to comfort, fit, material quality, etc.

Head fits well and is the only good thing besides the paws that I can actually wear. Head fits well and isn’t loose. The inside of the head is well made and easy to clean. The head is not stuffy to wear and breathing is easy. Vision is good.

Appearance Satisfaction How satisfying this piece is to look at with regard to material quality, design, how closely it matches the concept, etc.

MCC didn’t tell me that she makes all the insides of the mouth on the fursuit black. I would have wanted to have a pink mouth. Eyebrows are unsymmetrical. Shaving has been done clearly with hurry in some parts.

BodyGives information about the main body of the costume. If reviewing a separate set of pants/legs or torso, the answers would also go in this section.

Suit is too small to wear. I did send my measurement to MCC but it seems they didn’t chek them or bother to mesure with D&D. The sholder part is cut too short so when the suits head is turned, the head doesn’t cover the shoulders. The sleeves are too short so when the hand is bend the skin shows and there’s a gap between the paw and the sleeve. Legs are made bit too short too and don’t sit nicely.
Fullsuit needs to be fixed by me to fit on my body. Head fits well and is the only thing besides the paws that I can actually wear.
The zipper is diffcult to close and needs some fixing too.

The suit looks good from far away but when looked closely you can see that the spots are shaved in a hurry. The spots are on right places as in the refsheet. Fur colour was picked well and the fur is nice and soft.

Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.

Hands are nice to wear and soft. Putting on the outdoor feet requires assistance. Outdoor paws are made with a bit of a curve inside so putting them on requires some effort.

Hands are worth it. the feet are big and need some learning so you can walk with them and not trip. I ordered indoor paws and got outdoor paws. The indoor paws came later. Indoor paws are more easy to put on. They don’t have that inside “curve” that makes it a challenge to put them on.

TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.

Wear Satisfaction How satisfying this piece is to wear with regard to comfort, fit, material quality, etc.

The suit feels a bit too short. When you want to carry the tail it’s bit hard. The tail is crafted into the suit so it pulls the suit back. I need to fix this by putting on a belt. Carrying the tail is much more comfortable with a belt on, this is an error in the design.

Shaving on some parts was made in a hurry. Heart in the end could be done a little bit better. The material was the right colour and soft to touch.

WingsGives information about any wings the costume may have.

Wear Satisfaction How satisfying this piece is to wear with regard to comfort, fit, material quality, etc.

You can feel that other wing is a bit “off” on your back and hits you in the middle.

Symmetry is a bit off. Other wing curves back and needs to be removed and sewed back on so it will look good and stay in the same position.

How was your concept art realized?

Fullsuit matches the design and looks like Monday.

How well does everything fit together and match up?

Fullsuit needs to be fixed so that there are no gaps and the parts match. As the colour matching it was done well. The shaving could be done a little bit better. Padding is done correctly. Tail could have been sewed on the belt instead of the suit. Otherwise the suit looks like Monday and has the right amount of spots on it’s back.

Overall Project Quality

I’m happy that I got Monday home but super disapointed when I faced the fact it didn’t fit. I got the wrong feet paws and had to fix the fullsuit by myself. The waiting felt messy and I had to check that my fursuit wasn’t forgotten.

Maker Professionalism

Needs some improvement. I didn’t know about the telegram customers group chat right away. After I got acces to it I know better why the suit making was delayed. Some times it felted like some questions were avoided that concerned the deadlines. MCC had too many times too much going on and you could see people who were not happy with the suits got the blame and hate from MCC customers group chat. MCC didn’t adress harrasment by her followers and I wish she would listen to the feedback she gets, and work on issues instead of blaming the customer or some other stuff which affected her work result.

Project Completion Time

The waiting was a mess. I felt constantly that people are jumping over me on the waiting line because of a con. Trello was updated and the waiting line was many times out of order. I had impression that I would get fursuit in a year. But longer you were in the customers telegram chatroom, the more I was sure I was never going to get my suit done before the year 2019.

Rating

FursuitReview scores by having the reviewer answer the following question:
"Would you recommend this maker to another?"

NO!
This review has been marked with a negative rating.
This means the reviewer would NOT recommend Monster Cat Creations unless they significantly change their practices.

Final Comments

After all this if asked would I do it again I’d say no. If I would have known there is huge waiting line plus personal issues I had gone elsewhere. It’s not worth it to fight every month so that you can make sure your fursuit is not forgotten. And when you get the suit home there is too many issues for you to enjoy it. I hope MCC tryes to fix her issues and take this as feedback and not an personal attack on her. Cut the que line or make sure you have time to make fursuit and not fix them after the customer wasn’t happy with your work.

agree on this review i had a difficult time and my dutchie suit felt very rushed even though her previous suits looked very nice and high quality. wait time was awful but communication decent until a lack of wip photos until suit was almost finished and changes couldnt be made without costing extra. markings were in wrong place and some even missing. harassment from her friends when addressed issues and made me feel in the wrong very upsetting and immature to deal with. scared of getting yelled at again so keeping anonymous
