Relationship With Maker
The maker is NOT a friend

Yes, this is my second suit made by another person. I’ve owned one before Titus, and while it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever heard of, the quality of it was NOT good.

Wear Satisfaction

Heads built on resin bases aren’t typically very comfortable without padding, but surprisingly, Titus is pretty okay. The hinges for his moving jaw are completely covered, there are elastic straps so he’ll fit any wearer’s head size, no discomfort on any part of my head. He does get pretty hot quick in the summer, but nothing a little fan in his beak won’t fix, and he’s very easy to breathe in. Vision, for a head with only tear duct sight, is VERY good for me! There’s a small blind spot in the middle and sight to the sides is a bit limited, but It’s way better than I ever expected.

Visual Satisfaction

All materials used for the head are high quality and haven’t shown any wear yet. The markings on the front of his face aren’t completely symmetrical, but they’re very small pieces of fur that are hard to work with, so that’s absolutely understandable, and no one would notice it without focusing on it. The eyes are absolutely gorgeous, and follow very well.

Special Attachments and Features

Moving jaw: The bottom jaw is hinged and moves, though not very much. It opens about an inch and is a bit hard to move when wearing the head, but it works.

Overall

Product Satisfaction

How well does everything fit together and match up?
I can definitely tell the maker had experience with patterning and knew how to keep every piece lined up well with the others. The work is very clean.

Overall Project Quality
I am overall very happy with everything.

Purchase Process

Initial Contact
Very easy and great to work with. Most of my ontact with them went through IG.

Maker Response Time
They do their best to respond as soon as they can.

Maker Professionalism
They are professional, but friendly as well and easy to communicate with. They know how to talk with you in a way that isn’t that awkward stiff business work feeling, but more comfortable and approachable.

Project Completion Time
About as long as a maker would usually take to complete a head/what was expected. Shipped out in a timely manner.

Final Comments
If I were to ever buy another suit, Kyanite would definitely be on the top of my list for makers. They just need to up their prices a tad, this quality deserves better pay.
