HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
The head fits snugly and is secured with an inside Velcro strap and closed with a series of buttons on the back. Visibility is pretty good and it’s easy to be aware of my surroundings, this was definitely one of the stronger aspects of the head design. The inner material is incredibly soft and plush against your face, it’s quite comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time. Ventilation is spot on with a moveable jaw that helps with airflow and a built-in fan.
The only gripe I have with the head is how it’s closed. The back has two sides that come together and are secured by buttons. I would of much preferred to have a zipper instead as the buttons can be tricky to put on and secure and due to how form fitting the head is, sometimes one or two can become undone during excessive or sudden movement e.g dancing.
The appearance is amazing! I can’t really find anything wrong with the construction and overall aesthetic. The plush fur two toned fur that blends together so well, the ear tufts and how they perk up at the top, the airbrushed and UV resin nose is shiny and an incredibly pretty booper! The remove-able eyelids add a great deal of expression and detail to the headpiece as they can be configured to your wants. The fur is easily brushed all around from the face to the ears and hair, the feel is incredibly soft covers the entirety of the head, no backing can be seen.
Overall I’m very pleased with the appearance. ❤️
The previously mentioned fan inside the head attaches to a 9v battery housing that has a toggle-able on-off switch. The housing and battery are stowed in a little compartment in the neck area. The eyebrows are attached via velcro and come off and on fairly easily.
BodyGives information about the main body of the costume. If reviewing a separate set of pants/legs or torso, the answers would also go in this section.
The suit snugly fits to my body and it’s incredibly comfortable to wear. The material is breathable, soft and cushion-y and movement isn’t an issue. The quality and stitching is superb, all the little rosettes/spots are secured to the body and I’ve had zero issues with any seams since I’ve got the suit last year. Cleaning is pretty easy given it’s design and relative simplicity (plantigrade, no huge tail or inserts/wings.) As this is my first fursuit I don’t have a baseline to compare, but I’ve suited for hours on hours at a time doing rigorous activities (dancing, parades, general fursuit shenanigans) and the overall comfort and airflow is great.
As said before, Jesse’s work is just on point. The fur design, the spots, excess fluff on the chest.. I love the design and construction of the suit and I really can’t find any faults on this, there’s even a zipper to open and close the suit and no buttons this time around!
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The paws are amazingly soft and plush with soft claws and cushioned paw pads. They slip on easily even when putting on the second paw and their design is almost like a partial sleeve so there’s no chance of wrists showing no matter what when the bodysuit is on.
The footpaws are cushioned inside and very comfortable to wear for hours on end if need be, as the paws, these are very easy to slip on and out of and I’ve had zero issue with either in regards to seams and quality of their construction.
I absolutely love the golden accented claws and pads on both and aesthetically I’m very pleased. The pawpads are fleece as are the claws, it makes for incredibly soft and squishy paws. ❤️
As for the overall build quality, again, I really can’t find any issue. The shaving of fur is spot on and thorough, the stitching is great and nothing stands out as bad or poorly constructed.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
The tail is attached to the suit and as such fits perfectly, there’s been no problem with it’s construction, granted it’s a little tail-nub and nothing extravagant it functions fine~!
It’s cute and wiggles nicely while the fur and pattern blends right into the body suit perfectly. ❤️

Rating
Given my case is a little special in the sense that I bought a premade suit from Jesse so I skipped a lot of the nitty gritty details that go into suit making such as making a DTD and conveying all the relevant character design and information to the suit maker. However, Jesse is really a pleasure to work with. She’s detailed, she’s good at what she does and usually really fast at getting back to you. Her suits showcase her brilliance and quality and I would gladly commission her in the future and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone that asked.
