HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
The head fits amazingly! It was made on a foam base, and is lined. Head has a hidden zipper in the back to make it easier to put on. Vision is pretty good, and the nose holes are hollowed to allow more ventilation. Very good fit, and very sturdy build!
They head looks fantastic! The fur is nice and plush, and evenly shaved. The heads expression is cute, and I especially love her long purple tongue. Ears are big and fluffy, and very well furred. I also love the details of the leaves on her head. They are very beautiful to look at and have beautiful stitching to make the leaf veins. The only thing that is off about the head is the upper teeth are put in crooked, and dont line up evening with the bottom set of teeth. But this is only noticeable if you get close to the mouth and open it up wider.
BodyGives information about the main body of the costume. If reviewing a separate set of pants/legs or torso, the answers would also go in this section.
The body fits very nicely. Being a plus size person, I was worried that the suit was going to get to me and not end up fitting. The maker made sure to give me plenty of room on the inside to fit and not feel restricted in movement. The suit also seems to be very durable, I’ve run around in it and so far I’ve had no problems with popped stitching or anything. Padding is easy and simple to use. They maker told me there were going to add hooks on the inside of the suit and the padding as a way to secure it in place. This never ended up getting added. But so far I’ve had no problems with padding not staying in place.
The suit has a spot in the back to attach and detach the tail, so I have the option to take the tail off and do partial suiting. The maker put a hidden zipper in the front of the suit to make it easy for me to put on my suit alone per my request. The zipper is totally hidden from sight!
The only thing that I dont like about the bodysuit is that the leg part isn’t long enough, so it doesn’t come together with the feetpaws seamlessly. Because it isn’t long enough, there is a obvious gap between the suit legs and feet, where you can see my ankles. I also wish the wrist part of the suit was a tiny bit longer, sometimes if I move a certain way my wrist will show, and it takes awhile to fix because the wrist part isn’t as long as it could be. The maker has given me a few suggestions to fix this.
The look of the bodysuit is absolutely amazing! The marking are very well done, and accurate to the ref sheet. The wings are very beautiful, and look like big plush leaves. The fur is very nice and high quality. The shave on the chest and abdomen are is very well done.
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The fees are really well made and sturdy. The feet have foam on the bottom to make them outdoor feet paws, for extra sturdiness. The feet have a hidden zipper located in the back. So you can unzip it and remove the shoes inside for ease of washing the feetpaws. Which I think is a really nice addition.
With the handpaws, I requested that they be made more functional than plush, so I could easily open doors or use elevators independently when wearing them. The maker ended up making them pretty plush, so it is hard to open doors alone. But its not too challenging, and I love the look of them so I’m not upset. The inside of the paws are lined, and it can sometimes be hard to get my fingers in because of the lining. But after some finagling I can get them on well. The pads on the paws and the claws are very well sewn on.
The look of the hand paws and feet paws are great! They look exactly like they look in the ref sheet. The claws and paw pads are made with good quality and lovely materials. I especially love the material used for the pawpads. It is very shiny and stands out super well.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
The Tail is so awesome to wear! The way the tail is made, and how you loop the belt through, make it so the tails sticks really well to your body, and the tips never drags on the floor. It also makes it eaiser to bounch it around and shake it while wearing it, for a more animated performance. Ive had no problems with the tail whatsoever.
I absolutely love the look of the tail! It is immaculate. Everything looks so good, and perfect to the ref sheet. The leaves once again are very well made and have beautiful detail. The sheer size of the tail (its about as tall as me) adds so much personality and cuteness to Moriko. It also has a squeaker in the tip of the tail for added fun. It is one of my favorite parts of the suit.
