HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
The head is fully lined on the inside, and all the stitching is tight and heavy duty. The head is one of the most lightweight suits I have and the ventilation is good. The vision is also the best out of all my suits. The maker uses a high quality mesh and prints the eye designs onto it so it’s very sharp looking, and none of the mesh holes are clogged.
The fit isn’t too snug or too loose, fits like a glove and is easy to slip on and off.
The suit is accurate to my character 100%
The maker even included the little stars on her cheeks with FUR not airbrushing and they’re still sharp looking. The ears are the colours I wanted them, none of the fur is going in the wrong direction. She has a cute look and bright eyes, and very appealing to look at!
The maker also included a Velcro, removable tongue which I don’t remember? asking for? but it was a lovely bonus to have and now I can swap tongues!
The maker used high quality materials and sewed it all very tight and secure. There’s no parts lifting, and it’s very soft. The shaving is spot on, smooth and even, and I still to this day have yet to detect an issue after 6 months and lots of wear.
BodyGives information about the main body of the costume. If reviewing a separate set of pants/legs or torso, the answers would also go in this section.
The maker literally had to sew 70-100 individual spots for this character, and they did it in way less than a year.
I have looked inside of my bodysuit and all the spots are tightly sewn and none of it was done lazily.
The bodysuit fits me the best out of all my fullsuits. It is not too lose, but I can bend, run, get on all fours and do what I want inside of it. It’s very comfortable. The tail hole is lined as well as the neckline.
The seams are machine sewn and again, very heavy duty and will likely last me a long time! There are no seams coming loose or popping.
The material is not lined on the inside of the bodysuit but I’m sure the maker would have done it if I had asked. The bodysuit is make from luxury shag, and most of it is shaved down except for the chest – which is what I wanted for easier maintenance from a (mostly) white suit and a slicker look.
The suit isn’t more stuffy or hot than you would expect a fursuit to be. It’s got good airflow!
It’s very sharp, colourful, and clean. The symmetry is phenomenal and there’s no “one arm is tighter than the other” thing going on. The bodysuit fits amazing and is VERY nice to look at with all the colours, even shaving on the body and chest line.
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The maker used rubber on the bottoms of the feet so they’d be more durable and they definitely are, also easier to clean. The cuffs of the hand and feet paws are both lined. There are no issues with them at all.
I asked for extreme puffy paws for the hands and I wasn’t sure how the maker would translate rainbow gradient onto a real handpaw but they did it! The maker custom printed fabric for the hand paws. They’re easy to slip on (not overly challenging for puffy paws), and the material is again, really soft. The claws are all symmetrical and not different sizes or going in a million different directions.
This goes the same for the claws on the feet. The feet are very cute and the different toe shapes are well defined. The feet are made on Crocs so they’re very very lightweight and fit snugly.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
I asked for a floor dragging tail with a black bottom – the tail has already experienced some rough wear but I have not found and holes or loose seams in it where it drags. It gets dirty and I can clean it right up afterwards.
I asked for a long floor dragging tail and I got what I wanted!
The tail is almost as tall as I am! It’s fluffy, not stuffed too tight, and the belt straps are sewn tightly. Again, the maker must have sewn another 30+ individual spots in this thing and I’m still astonished at the end result.
It also stays in place while I’m wearing it. It doesn’t go upside down or flip around.
Floor Dragging was extra $$ and considered an extra feature. There was a reasonable price increase for what I wanted and the maker did phenomenal on it – well worth my money.
OverallHow satisfied the reviewer is with the overall buying experience, including their interactions with the maker and the resulting final product.
The maker did not require more reference art from me as the reference I had was clear enough, but I do know the maker won’t make a suit without a clear reference sheet.
No markings were flipped, moved or simplified.
All the seams match up, and nothing looks lopsided at all!
She was very consistent with her usual style – lots of teeth!
They’re very in touch with their clients
I can’t recommend them enough –
I love my suit so much – I hope this review helps 🙂
