Wear Satisfaction
How satisfying this piece is to wear with regard to comfort, fit, material quality, etc.
The fit is just a tad large for my head, but I don’t blame the maker for this. I have a very small head and Snap’s heads are built on pre-sized foam martial arts helmets, so even the smallest helmet size was a bit too big for me. It’s not a huge issue, though. The head is semi-lined. The foam helmet is naturally made in a way that wicks away sweat (it’s made for heavy martial arts use), so that part of the head is left unlined. The fur is also not lined, but there are no bits of actual raw foam in the head. This all makes wearing and cleaning the head a breeze. One thing to note, however, is the weight. The head is definitely on the heavier side because of the material used, but this also means it’s very durable. The vision is excellent, even with the LEDs on the eyes. There isn’t really a blind spot because of the way the muzzle is constructed, but the field of vision is a bit smaller than other suits I’ve owned. Ventilation is also good, through the eyes and mouth. Snap offers the option of fans in the muzzle, which I did not choose to add. The head can get a bit stuffy because of the weight, but it wasn’t anything unbearable.
Appearance Satisfaction
How satisfying this piece is to look at with regard to material quality, design, how closely it matches the concept, etc.
The suit is almost perfect in terms of symmetry and details. The details are crisp, ears are even and the eyes are symmetrical. All of the details match the concept art, including the eye dots and eyebrows, which are a bit covered by the hair floof. The only design flaw would be the darkness of the black fur, but that comes with the territory of having a dark character. The shaving is smooth and seamless. I don’t see any backing in the shaved areas. The transition between furs and lengths feels seamless. One nitpick would be that the black fur used is a rougher fur while the other colors are a more soft fur, which isn’t really noticeable unless you’re looking for something to complain about. The fur itself is still sturdy. I’ve brushed the head with a slicker brush many times now and the fur hasn’t come off (more than usual) or become patchy. The green fur in the ears is exactly the right amount of floof. The fur is all also facing the right way, especially the ear fur. The overall expression of the head is good. The smile is static without a moveable jaw and the eyes are follow-me. The variety of facial expressions isn’t as much as one might expect with follow-me eyes, but I’m happy with the consistent smiley face. There are also no eye lids on the eyes, keeping the face looking happy, although I know Snap has made heads with eyelids on the eyes. Overall the head has a great expression and gorgeous eyes and details. Friends tell me they can see the quality, and I agree.

Product Satisfaction
How satisfied the reviewer is with the overall look and feel of the costume in its entirety.
How was your concept art realized?
Snap was willing to work with the reference sheet I provided along with some added details I requested, such as the hair floof. There was some initial contention regarding the fur color, specifically the dark grey. We eventually settled on a black fur as the base, which I think ended up looking better than grey would have. The final product matches my character exactly. All markings and additions are there.
How well does everything fit together and match up?
Everything matches and fits very well. The fur colors and markings are consistent and the large neck fur makes it easy to partial or full suit without skin showing, The suit is incredibly consistent with the ByCats4Cats style. It is exactly the style of suit I paid for.
Overall Project Quality
The fursuit met my expectations and more. The whole process and end product were easy and professional. I have no real complaints and am very satisfied with the product I received.
Purchase Process
Details the interactions between the customer/reviewer and the maker of the item with regard to the buying process.
Initial Contact
I’d been following the maker on Furaffinity and Twitter for a few years before choosing to commission him. He had posted on Twitter that he was open for commissions. I contacted via email, but we moved talk to Telegram, which worked out well. The quote process was simple; I submitted a quote form via his website and was approved via email.
Maker Response Time
We originally started on email and switched to Telegram. Snap was very easy to communicate with. He usually responded within a day, more often less.
Maker Professionalism
Snap was very professional and was easy to talk to. He was professional when he needed to be and friendly or casual when appropriate. Snap never revealed details about his personal life and was always clear about the commission process.
Project Completion Time
The project was completed within the timeframe I was given. There was a que and I was on the back end of it, but even so there was never a need to move the deadline. The suit was completed and shipped within the completion deadline (which was a rough estimate). They used USPS.

Final Comments
Overall, I am very happy with the whole process and the end product. The process was easy and felt like I was communicating with an actual business. The fursuit itself is exactly what I wanted and the quality is incredible. The only con I have would be the weight of the head. I would also recommend commissioners request a fan in the muzzle. It’s probably the only regret I have- not adding the fan in.
