HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
I’m very satisfied with how it feels! It fits very snugly to my head and isn’t too tight or too loose. I can move around as much as I want without needing much adjusting. The only grievance that I have is that the jaw is not very defined so the head and neck just kind of mesh together. Other than that I’m very happy with it! It also came with complimentary eyelids, which is very kind!
The vision is amazing due to the large eyes of her style. Ventilation is pretty good as well. I’m sure it could be better due to the mouth being small, but the mouth sits right in front of my own so I can breathe mostly fine.
The base is made of foam so it’s very durable and I never have to worry about it getting ruined in any way.
Something that I appreciate is that the inside of the neck has a pocket! The tongue is very long so if I want to keep the tongue short or tuck it away I can put it in the pocket. The tongue is sewn in at the base. The teeth are glued on.
The inside is made of fleece and zips at the back. I would recommend wearing a balaclava but it would probably be okay without one.
The nose is shaped a bit differently than I had expected before I commissioned her due to some cat fursuits having a slightly different nose. I’m not sure if it was a style choice or if the other style nose wasn’t available in the color I needed. It doesn’t look bad though, I still like it a lot!
The face is shorter/flatter from the side than a standard fursuit head, especially for a cat. That is part of her style which I knew going into it.
The expression is super cute and fits my sona really well. The face is happy & smiling.
During the creation process, she would send me pictures of different colors of fur and ask me which ones I preferred so we could make a suit that I liked best!
Overall I’m very happy with the face. If you want a cute, toony style this would definitely be good for you.
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The hands are just a *little* too big. I do have to pull them down sometimes when I’m wearing them to keep them on my hands. They don’t show skin, though, and holds its shape very well with movement. Because the fingers are shorter, you can’t really do much with small finger movements.
I paid extra for the feet. They are digitigrade outdoor feetpaws. They have padding to insert when you put them on. I had to figure out how to put the padding in and where it goes, but after that it was fine. The feet are very big and I’ve accidentally kicked over some things, but that’s to be expected with big feetpaws.
The feetpaws also make my chins/ankles sweaty so I would recommend wearing capris instead of pants if you get the digi feetpaws.
I also paid extra for armsleeves. The inside of them are just the underside of the fur so it’s a rougher material. I would recommend wearing underarmor or a long sleeve shirt underneath. Sometimes it takes a minute to figure out how to put them on, but that may also be because I’m a novice suiter.
They look great! The hands look adorable and fit the style really well. Not much to say about them since my paws don’t have many details on them.
The feet look very good as well, but since they’re so large and bulky it can look awkward. That’s also partly because of the way my legs are shaped, and is also to be expected when you get large feetpaws.
The fur length on both of them is a good length, but still need to be brushed. They’re symmetrical and I’m very satisfied with how they look. The armsleeves look great as well!
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
This is a very nice tail! The gap to insert a belt is actually inside the tail itself so there’s no buckles/fabric to make it obviously look like a prop. It makes it almost look like a “real” tail which I appreciate!
My tail is long since my character is a cat. I like that it’s not too long that it gets in the way. I think it’s a perfect & proportional size.
It looks amazing! The fur is a nice length and is definitely identifiable as a cat tail. The shape is very cute as well, as it curves out just slightly at the end. The original selection of colors she had were colors I didn’t like, but she changed the colors after we discussed our options.
OverallHow satisfied the reviewer is with the overall buying experience, including their interactions with the maker and the resulting final product.
I would highly recommend KrafiCat to anyone looking for a cute fursuit style! Her suits are very affordable, she communicates well, and the suits themselves look good and feel good. She mostly communicates on instagram and telegram. Her cat style is adorable and unique so if you have a feline you’d like made, she would definitely be a maker to consider! (She makes a lot of cats, but she can make any species.)
