[YES] Hex the Lynx Partial by Ritz Costumes
General InformationGives some information about the item and the person writing the review.

HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
The head fits comfortably without being too snug or roomy. The head base was carved out of foam and the inner lining is comfortable and soft. The vision is great, but I find I tend to get a little warm if I wear it for too long. That’s to be expected, however, and I have nothing to complain about!
Hex’s fursuit is accurate to her ref down to the last detail. Her wide eyes also give her a fun look that I absolutely adore. The shaved fur is also smooth and even which is great since she looks nice and tidy.
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
Ritz offers unique feetpaws that don’t require shoes and mine fit perfectly. The feet are a bit on the larger side, but I think that compliments her toony style. I chose 4-fingered puffy paws for my handpaws and while I’ve worn puffy paws that made my hands sore, Hex’s have not caused me any pain.
Much like her head, the hand and feet paws are neat, tidy and soft. Everything was well made and I have yet to encounter a problem.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
The tail is an adorable nub tail which helps make Hex’s species identifiable. It fits well on a belt loop and I haven’t had problems with it either.
The furbwa slept long and is also nice and soft. Nothing looks choppy or rushed and the fur flows evenly.
OverallHow satisfied the reviewer is with the overall buying experience, including their interactions with the maker and the resulting final product.
I was scammed out of a fursuit before I commissioned Ritz, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My worries were soon put at ease thanks to her professional but friendly attitude, plus she often showcased her other work and seemed to work in an extremely organized manner. Her large following also helped ease my anxiety since a lot of other furries seemed to trust her and show off their suits.
I learned about Ritz after she appeared in The Fandom, a furry documentary created by Ash Coyote. I visited her website out of curiosity and found Hex through her adoptable suits page. The page in question features a bunch of fursuit friendly designs, prices and a bunch of options including fullsuits, partials, etc. I fell in love with Hex’s design immediately and took things from there.
When it was finally time to create Hex, Ritz made sure that I got to see my choices of furs and WIP photos of the suit while she was building it. Talking to her was a breeze and I have no complaints about her, her personality or the suit. The suit arrived in a large box and was packaged well alongside a small goodie bag and a handrawn traditional badge. I’d recommend her work to both beginner and experienced fursuiters.
I have yet to wear Hex to a convention, but I LOVE to show her off during fursuit Friday! ♡
