HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
The head does not fit and is extremely uncomfortable to wear and talk in. Wearing the head for any long period of time gives me a headache as it is tight at the top of my head. My chin does not fit in the head and the neck fur is short so when I look straight my neck is the only time my neck isn’t visible and even still I constantly needed to flatten the neck fur down.
Also, where the eyes are at it is almost impossible to see out of the eyes without having to look down and if you do, you can see what’s Infront of you so it’s impossible not to bump into someone near you or almost trip on a hazard. I have tripped once and I am waiting to probably trip again in it and this time not catch myself. The head also had to be given to someone else as the maker could not finish the head, but In doing so, the other maker messed around with the head sizing without any measurements. Luckily the head fits width ways but long ways it doesn’t.
The head is not able to be repaired and must be replaced and that is the opinion of a few other fursuit makers.
The head looks like my character and is cute. The expression of the head is in line with what blus character would be like. The head does match almost to the ref given.
But the fur is soft but the shaving isn’t even all over with some long parts still being on the head that I had to fix.
BodyGives information about the main body of the costume. If reviewing a separate set of pants/legs or torso, the answers would also go in this section.
The body of the suit is the only thing that fits properly though a little tight to put on. The suit zipper tore in the first wear of the suit and since I have no idea how to fix it, it has been getting worse even without wear just hanging it up in the closet.
The interior is great with no stitching being irritating or annoying. The construction marks do not get need from the outside of the suit when worn fully.
The airflow isn’t great but it is a fursuit and so such a thing is common, but air does get through the eyes and mouth so there is some basic cooling.
The looks of the body are very good. The spots were well done and look great. The suit feels really soft and and it is symmetrical for the parts that need to be. The fur is not shaven at all and it does match the ref given almost perfectly. The colours used were not fully accurate to the design however the suit colours weren’t available to the maker and so they did their best with what they had.
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The hands are impossible to put both on properly. The lining inside the hand is all tearing and the lining falling apart. The lining for the paw is way to small and requires someone’s assistance to properly put both on. Even when their on, they can be uncomfortable to wear as the lining can cause the fur to slip making my fingers not be in the paw fingers. The suit hands does not deal with sweat well and can be saturated for hours leaving them cold and wet to wear.
The feet are large and soft. They are hardish to walk in but time will fix that. The feet are big but are well build. The feet are hard to walk in but time will help with that. He feet however don’t fit well, and I don’t need the shoe size. The shoes in them fit amazingly which credit to the maker for finding shoes that fit me, but the hole where I slip my foot in is too small and I have injured myself twice trying to put them on.
The fur, like all the rest of the suit, is of high quality.
The hands are basic paws of two colours but the maker did go off the ref as asked to make a change for the hands with was done well. The paw pads are accurate sized and shaped and do look good. The claws aren’t that strong on the hands but for what I asked, the suit not being uncomfortable to hug or boop, they are good.
The feet were supposed to come with hard claws for them but they didn’t. The feet are just orange so they match the ref given perfectly.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
The tail is attached to the body but is comfortable to wear and doesn’t feel like it exists when walking or sitting after a while. The tail does not impair walking like I thought it might. The fur it the tail also is t hard to it isn’t uncomfortable to wear or sit on when needed. The tail is stitched on well to the body and is quite durable. The fur is of high quality.
The appearance of the tail is great for the complexity of the tail. The tail was made as asked which was no zipper outside the suit. The tail also fits well with the body part and looks like one big piece rather then a tail stitched on. The tail also looks semi realistic to what a real tail would look like. Best part of the whole suit.
OverallHow satisfied the reviewer is with the overall buying experience, including their interactions with the maker and the resulting final product.
They also wanted me to pay $150 ish dollars each way to get the suit fixed and head resized, which I later found out was impossible, when it shouldn’t of been a problem in the first place of the maker made the suit as ordered.
I will not work with this maker again and I am looking at finding another maker so I can replace this current suit. I do not recommend this maker to anyone as the process is horrible and as a few friends have called it, “a scam”.
