Character Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction Incredibly comfortable and soft! They came lined, which was a pleasant surprise, and they fit super and they’re very dexterous despite being so big. They’re snug and secure and don’t slide off, and they actually don’t get all that hot despite the stuffing and long-pile fur. The wrists don’t slide either and they’re long enough that no skin shows on a long-sleeved shirt. They took a bit of getting used to and the lining tends to bunch a bit, but nothing I didn’t expect from my first ever pair of paws. Lined with a really pretty orange fleece that’d very comfortable to wear. The lining is a little loose and, like I said, tends to bunch a bit, but I figure that just comes with having lined paws. The seams are INCREDIBLY durable and sewn tight, with no holes or places I was worried about, and they can stand up to the firm tug I needed the first few times to get them on.The seams on the long-pile part of the paws are completely invisible. The rest of them you can see, but I’m not picky about visible seams so it’s far from an issue. Visual Satisfaction Impeccable symmetry. All the fingers look almost exactly the same, with very slight imperfections that I completely expected (since they’re made by an actual human being and all.) The shaving is gorgeously smooth and even, no backing can be seen or felt. The transition between the fur lengths is a bit abrupt, but absolutely nothing to complain about because they’re still gorgeous. All the claws face in the right direction and look beautiful, and they’re stuffed to be firm but not stiff. The fur is soft and smooth, long pile (3-4 inches I think) on the wrists and shaved on the hands. The fur is all facing the right direction and brushes down very well. It tends to get messy quickly, but I expect that from long pile fur. The markings are sharp in contrast and all sewn firmly. They match the art PERFECTLY. Star has no paw pads on his palms and I was absolutely ELATED to see that they noticed and included the detail without being prompted! All the colors match the art perfectly, and theoverall shape suits his toony vibe really well. The maker let me know it was his first time using the pattern they used, and they turned out SPECTACULAR for a first try. The black fleece used on the pads and claws doesn’t pill, and the white doesn’t pick up stains as easily as I was worried it would. The black fleece and the black fur match incredibly well as well. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? Pyro took my own art after asking for a ref to make a judgement on whether they could make the paws or not based on the materials that they had on hand. No alterations were made to Star’s design outside of a slight color difference because the exact color was unavailable (I honestly think the pure white looks better!) They look exactly like what I hoped they would, and they match the ref EXTREMELY well. How well does everything fit together and match up? All the markings match up very well and look very nice. Nothing is choppy or uneven, all the colors match, and the markings are sharp and strong. They fit exceedingly well and are very comfortable and dexterous for their size. There’s no real high-tension areas and the spots that do get a bit of abuse handle it really well. The paws exceed expectations of appearance and quality and look GORGEOUS. Pyro really went above and beyond to make these paws nice and comfortable. Overall Project Quality These paws are absolutely above and beyond. Almost every detail is perfect, and Pyro was a delight to work with. For a first try at the pattern used, these are spectacular and you would think they’ve used this pattern a million times before. Purchase Process Initial Contact I found Pyro via a public Furry Amino chatroom looking for a custom character in exchange for fursuit parts. They contacted me within a few hours of my initial offer. Maker Response Time They responded promptly and professionally, and answered all my questions clearly. Maker Professionalism Pyro was very friendly and professional and kept me updated on every stage of the process. They let me know every time there would be a delay and kept me firmly on the hook for updates on my part. The only reason given for a slight delay after I started my side was that the black fur wasn’t in yet- perfectly reasonable and the fur arrived the next day. Project Completion Time Pyro finished EXTREMELY quickly, I sent the art January 5th and they sent me finished photos on the 12th. Shipping was extremely fast as well, within a couple days, and they provided me with a tracking number to keep a bead on them. Rating FursuitReview rates by asking the question: Would you recommend this maker? YES This review has been marked with a positive rating. This means the reviewer would recommend Pyro.bytes. Final Comments Pyro is an absolute delight to work with, and their current prices are so low for the quality you get that its nearly robbery. They have incredible potential as a maker and they’re already far more professional than other artists and clients of their caliber that I’ve worked with before. I highly reccommend Pyro for anyone looking for a small maker with impeccable quality. Are you the maker of this item? Would you like to leave an official response? Click here.
