Super easy – she actually came up with the colors and concept, and I did the design! She had posted about wanting to make more kitsune fursuits as premades, so I reached out and she admitted she wasn't sure of design, so I helped her out.
She was amazing with communication! She updated me often without me even asking. She was very open about how long the suit would take, and always super friendly to talk to!
The suit only took a little under a year to complete, and was projected to be done by MFF 2022 and completed on time!
The overall quality is stunning, no popped seams, the airbrushing hasn't faded, the overall look of the suit is beautiful and adorable and wearing her makes me feel insanely cute and confident.
Panda knocks it out of the park with how this suit fits/how wearable it is!! The vision is incredible as well as the ventilation. The head DOES get hotter quicker than others I have owned/worn, but that can easily be fixed by putting a fan in the head in the future, which I intend to either do myself or have Panda do! The head is super comfortable to wear, it's essentially built on a baseball cap with the brim cut off (which, is removable actually via velcro!) and there is a chin rest inside. I have had a friend try her on one year, and he has a slightly smaller head than me, but it still fit perfectly for him. The baseball cap inside has an adjustable strap which is also velcro which makes her fit a wide variety of head sizes. It is also lined with a sports mesh like material (I believe it is called spacer mesh?) which I actually prefer over lycra.
Where do I even START?! The head is absolutely stunning and beautiful visually, the shaving is so smooth and crisp, the light airbrushing adds a subtle touch. She is ABSOLUTELY adorable and turns heads! The hearts on the back of her ears are my favorite – very neat and tidy! The vision is essentially through the tear duct area, which is stunningly and seamlessly blended into the fur to the point where people consistently ask me how I see haha! 1000/10 my hopes were high for Panda but she still somehow blew me away with how beautiful she looks!!!
the hands are simple and straightforward, but extremely comfortable to wear! She scaled down the pattern (knowing that I'm smaller than than my other two kitsune brethren before me) and they fit snug against my hand, almost form fitting! I love how they fit, they're easy to get back on as well after taking them off briefly. They're also lined only on the top, which adds to breathability.
They're soooo tiny and cute!!! The claws and pawpads are made of minky and super soft! I love how they look more like an animal/feral than more anthro/hand like.
The tail is the only thing that is hard to wear, it's BIG. She didn't scale the tail down from the other two kitsune, which I adore, but it sags my pants when wearing, and the belt loops are small. (it doesn't help that people run into my tail often, probably due to me being short, so that's not on Panda.) Even though it can be difficult to wear due to size, I'm still VERY satisfied with it! It is lightweight and has a wonderful bounce when wearing.
Once again, the markings are crisp, the tail is so absolutely adorable, so it is EXTREMELY worth it to wear! With how big it is on me, in my opinion that makes it so much cuter.
I can't go without mentioning the rope and bell! The bell is essentially like a plush, made of minky and stuffed. No, it does not make noise. (I have been asked this many times lol) The rope is actually airbrushed! When Panda cut the rope for the suit, unfortunately under all that yellow was black. However, Panda played this off so beautifully, by blending it together and making is so sparkly and starry. She is completely a master of her craft and it shows in so many ways, especially how she handled the rope issue! The rope and bell is easy and simple to put on. The bell snaps onto rope, then the bell has snaps that wrap around the rope, completely securing it. The snaps going from the bell to the rope have only come undone when wearing only once, but I never figured out why and it hasn't happened before or since.
