Overall

Initial ContactIt was very easy to contact my maker for the trade. He reached out to me first to offer on my suit I had for trade on Instagram, and we continued to talk there. It was very easy to understand what he needed from me for the suit, such as measurements and references.

Maker CommunicationI’m extremely satisfied with the communication. Csymon almost always responded to me immediately, and was very quick to answer questions and get pictures for me if needed. He was very pleasant to work with, and easy to communicate with. He was very easygoing when talking to him, and while staying professional, he stills jokes with and befriended customers which makes the process less stressful. He communicated very clearly, and updated me almost daily and gave me the dates for when he was unable to work or told me when he was sick.

Project Completion TimeI was in the wait list for 3/4 of a year, and when the head was started, he was able to finish him within a few months. He has a public queue where we could see what suits he’d work on in order, and always showed WIPS in my dms and in a client group chat. My time expectations were communicated clearly, and while he got pushed back a few times, it was for valid reasons such as being sick or being out of town, and he did get finished before the deadline.

Overall Project QualityOverall, I have zero complaints about the suit head and am extremely satisfied with the finished product. For being done on such a short notice, (my maker had a deadline for a convention), he was so amazingly built. Besides how incredibly detailed all the hand sewn markings on his face are, he is very durable and has not had an issue with popped seams or parts falling off. I felt my expectations were 100% exceeded, especially for a suit trade. The markings are perfectly symmetrical which is amazing considering the complexity of his patterns, he’s very comfortable to wear, and easy to move and breath in considering I’ve competed in dance competitions with him. I’m very satisfied with the quality of everything on the head.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionI am extremely satisfied with the wearability of the head. He is extremely comfortable to wear, and sits perfectly on me. He isn’t too heavy and doesn’t hurt my back when I wear him. The entire head is lined with cooling neoprene, which is very comfortable to wear and has a pleasant texture. The head is large enough to give me room to move, but has an adjustable head strap so he does not move too much. The head is well ventilated and circulates well through the mouth. His vision is incredible, and though he does have a large blind spot in front of him, I don’t mind as the eye placement makes it more accurate to his species. Overall, I quite enjoy wearing his head due to how comfortable he is and can wear him for hours at a time without an issue.

Visual SatisfactionThe head looks perfect to me visual-wise, especially with the complexity of his markings. He’s as symmetrical as a hand-made item can get, and nothing is lopsided. His markings match perfectly to the character design, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out. The shaving is so smooth and absolutely gorgeous, and the transitions in lengths are clean. The fur used was teddy, and is extremely soft due to that, and can be easily brushed without messing up the fur. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the visual appearance and quality of my suit.

Special FeaturesMy suit has an additional pair of "dizzy eyes" for pictures that you cannot see out of, and they are absolutely perfect. The shape of the swirls on them are so detailed and well done, and are durable and easy to remove and reapply.

Final CommentsI would absolutely recommend CsymonsCreations to others who are looking for suit makers. Despite Csymon being a newer maker, his work is incredible and met every expectation, even exceeding them. I’ve commissioned more pieces for my suit from Csymon, and will continue to do so in the future.
