Character Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction First thing to note the head has extremely nice ventilation!! Air passes through the mouth and eyes extremely well I notice that I can wear him for quite a while before getting too hot! Fit is nice and snug! Not too tight, not too lose. Overall very very comfortable. Inside is lined with custom sports lycra so you never have direct contact with any foam. Vision is absolutely fantastic, actually the best vision I’ve had with any suit head I’ve tried on previously. Actually surprisingly light weight! It weighs about the same or even less than my other fursuit head so no worry about it straining my neck. Overall very comfortable and nice to wear. Visual Satisfaction I cannot stress how spot on the look is. Symmetry is exact, no noticeable faults even minor?? Extremely symmetrical. Head base construction was extremely smooth so there’s no out of place foam chunks or anything wonky shaped in the overall shape. Shaving is SUPER FINE AND SUPER EVEN on the face like it is down to extremely short with no exposed backing whatsoever and no chopping it is all unbelievably smooth. I wanna super commend that I don’t see mentioned often! Transition from short to long is also very nice. The extremely short cut face fur helps emphasize the long pile used for his cheeks and hair and makes it really stick out more. Fur and minky feels very nice, very soft. The mouth is very nicely constructed, the teeth are very clean and nicely shaped and the outer mouth is lined to emphasize the gums and expression. Muzzle spots are also a super nice touch and the whiskers add a nice final detail to it. Overall appearance is big wow the quality is fantastic and the expression is spot on to how I always draw him. Comes off as sassy and up to no good. Eyes are static hypno eyes! Very cleanly painted w no chipping or spotting in the paint. Matches the concept art perfectly! Face shape, expression, fur length, marking placement, and everything else are extremely accurate! I also appreciate the detail on the neck fur with adding his pink “v” at the base of the neck. It works extremely well with the bodysuit! Special Attachments and Features So I’m not sure how unique this is but I wanted to make an add on about the eyes! They’re made completely from mesh so the view is PHENOMENAL I can see practically to my usual peripherals and the only blind spot is a very small one at the front of my face! Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction Hands : Very comfortable, easy to get on. Have cuffs at the ends made with custom lycra! Despite looking very big on my tiny hands they actually fit very snuggly and there are pillows placed in the fingers that help keep their puffy round shape and assist in the overall movement of the fingers. They are noticeably very bouncy at the pawpads so they are very fun to bap people with. Armsleeves : Also very comfortable and easy to put on! They go up to about my shoulders so they’re very easy and natural to wear under short sleeve shirts. The elastic at the back is very light and I basically never notice it so no skin irritation or uncomfortableness caused by that. Very light and mobile to wear! I have lots of arm movement available and there’s no risk of it riding up and showing my wrists or anything. Transitions into the paws nicely, no restriction. Also has cuffs made of lycra at the ends. Visual Satisfaction Appearance is super nice the handpaws and armsleeves fit together flawlessly. The implementation of the shoulder stripes and armpit fur were done with correct placement and fit together really nice on the sleeves/line up in proper place when I wear them. I absolutely adore the paws. They are so big and squishy and BAPPABLE. The shave job on the fingers is very nice and the claw+sheath combo was executed perfectly to the ref. Appreciation to detail in the claws as they redid them once to make them look more feline instead of standard thick claws. Pawpad construction is also extremely nice, you can’t see any kind of seams where they are sewn into the fur and they actually have extra padding in them I believe as well so they actually have their own mini squish and have a small round raise from the paw fur. A note a I wanted to make about the handpaws is that they actually redid them about 3 times I believe? Each time I gave them an a-ok to move on but they went back and redid them themselves because they said they weren’t happy with how they looked/the quality. I super appreciate this showing that even if the customer is okay with it they also have a personal standard that they hold themselves to and unless it meets that standard it’s not good enough for the client. It’s a personal thing but it just comes off to me as caring extremely hard about making sure the customer gets what they paid for and that nothing is made sub-par to their standards. Special Attachments and Features This is probably just a small detail but I believe the claw sheaths were a new implementation for them to tackle, but they were done extremely cleanly and nice. They actually redid the sheaths after finishing them the first time cause they weren’t satisfied with them (even though I gave the a-okay) and the second time around they looked even better. Definitely aced it! Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? Concept art was realized perfectly. Face shapes, colors, fur length and variation, expression, marking placement; all was basically spot on to the ref. He looks exactly like my character and feels exactly like him in person too. Wonderful job done with that and with making sure to emphasize details about the character to make sure they matched the reference material to a T. (Ex: emphasized cheek fluff, gum/mouth liner around the edge of the mouth to match what I do in my art, spot on stylization of the eyes, etc etc.) How well does everything fit together and match up? Everything matches up perfectly the seams are extremely clean, no wrinkling or anything that makes it look awkward. I am a very small person so he may look slightly large on me but that’s how it is when you’re tiny. The armsleeves definitely help even out my proportions and size. Everything fits me perfectly! Armsleeves are just the right size with no restriction for arm movement or pulling while also nicely covering the paw lining so I have a wide range of motion with them without worry of skin showing. Looks spot on with all their other suits even though it’s not a fullsuit! Very consistent with their quality Overall Project Quality Cannot emphasize enough how amazing the quality is. Everything has care put into it and is made in a way that not only satisfies the customer but also meets their own personal quality standard. The suit puts together very nicely and overall looks fantastic. Practically seamless with extremely high quality shave job. Definitely exceeded my expectations and I do think it was absolutely worth the price paid. Very well built and I can imagine with proper care this suit should be around for many many years. Purchase Process Initial Contact I was actually originally approached by MCB in regards to art and after some talking we ended up working out a deal for suit payment via art and money! Measurements were clear and communication about fur colors, materials, and anything else they needed from me like payments and art art amounts were made clear when they needed them from me! Maker Response Time Response time was very quick. Spoke with them via telegram so any questions, concerns, or updates I needed they were very quick to respond! Maker Professionalism Maker was professional! I have a tendency to be very casual and sometimes overly chit chatty with people so they were very friendly with me but stayed business professional when we were talking about the suit itself! Project Completion Time When the suit was being worked on the turnaround time was very quick and consistent! However, the suit was pushed back a few times and the original final deadline was missed. I was communicated with about it about a week beforehand so I do appreciate the honesty instead of just leaving me in the dark even if I was originally disappointed. After that there were no specific deadlines made and the suit was finished 3 months after! In the end, I am glad that there was a delay put on so that they could make something thorough and that they were proud of instead of rushing something off to meet a deadline. I do believe that recently implemented a no deadline policy so this shouldn’t be a problem for any future commissions.
