Fits like an absolute glove! Not too tight anywhere, but not baggy. There is a hole for the tail, which is covered by feathers. The padding is sewn into the legs, which is very nice to keep the shape looking good, and there is a zipper to remove the stuffing. The fabric is very comfortable and I can suit for a long time before starting to get hot.
I need a little bit of assistance while suiting up. I can get into the suit and zip up, but there is an additional button-strap on one shoulder for durability that I have a friend snap together for me. I can definitely feel the difference in support! With more practice I could probably do it on my own.
Due to the amount of padding (which is what I requested, so it’s understandable) – it can be a little difficult bending and getting up quickly. It adds to the cuteness factor though!
The body is surprisingly comfy and I could see myself able to suit for a very long time in one go.
The furs are all very soft and the seams are all clean and sturdy. It appears exactly like my reference and looks good from all angles!
There was an unexpected issue where the fur supplier discontinued the main fur color that was also already on the tail and in use for Wran’s head. Then I requested a newly released fur to be used, which when it came in, it didn’t work at all for what I wanted. I found another fur to try (it’s surprisingly difficult to find quality fur something close to the right brown) and thankfully that worked out perfect. Butterscotch communicated with me the whole way, with helpful suggestions, and didn’t let the fur mishap delay from the ETA.
I believe this was the first digi bodysuit they made, and I’m completely satisfied!
My first commission with Butterscotch was for a custom tail. I wanted something that perked up a little and was large, but didn’t drag on the ground. They made two prototypes before beginning work on Wran’s to make sure I liked the look of the markings, feather placement, and way it rested against the body! I was so in love with their service and skills that I decided to go with them for a bodysuit later.
The tail fits nicely, and despite its size it doesn’t feel too heavy. It also has a lovely swish!
The tail matches perfectly with my reference, and the feathers have the softest minky I’ve ever felt. Butterscotch balanced size and shape with what I wanted and I’m in love with the final result!
Butterscotch contacted Wran’s head maker, normanpatchesnfurs, to make sure that the back of the head and neck stripe markings would match up. Their DTD also required extra tape loops around my thumb and heel so that they could get sleeve length right. I’ve never had skin peek through anywhere!
Despite the tail commission being separate from the body commission, it matched up and fit seamlessly to the body.

If I have any more characters I want as fursuits, I would definitely consider Butterscotch first! I recommend them frequently, my roommate has even gotten a tail from them. They followed my references exactly and were very receptive to feedback during the process. I never felt like I had to ask them for updates, and it was overall a very professional and fun commission!
