This head is, by far, one of the most comfortable I have ever worn. It fits as it’s supposed to. When I breathe, it goes out of the fursuit’s mouth. There is a balaclava partly glued in, and it fits very well. The head isn’t tight, but doesn’t slide around. It’s very lightweight. I usually get headaches easily with heavier heads, but with this head, I have yet to get one. No matter how much I move around, that head isn’t gonna come off. Ventilation is great and I don’t get hot quickly.
I am beyond satisfied with the appearance of this costume. It’s symmetrical and overall exactly what I wanted. The teeth look nice and match the character. The tongue is nice and soft and really cute while also making him look like the sassy, angry character he is meant to be portrayed as. The ears aren’t very hyena-like and could be a little more round, but I actually love the shape of them despite that. I think they look amazing. I love where the maker left little tufts of fur instead of shaving it. I think it makes him look angrier and more wild. The back of the head is beautiful as well and very shapely. I didn’t like the nose at first, but it has grown on me. I have come to love the shape. The white material on it is very soft, although I do worry about how it will hold up over time. I like how the eyes look, and the shiny plastic used makes them look very much alive. I think the simplistic eyes are nice and fitting of the style. However, I wish they would have been painted with a few grey hues to add more depth. I am not dissatisfied with the eyes, again I love the head overall very much. All of the materials used are high quality.
The black fur that’s been shaved isn’t super soft, but it’s not hard or rough or unpleasant in texture, either. The white is about the same where it’s been shaved. The ears are glued in the area they’re attached to the head, so it kind of worries me as to how they’ll hold up over time as well, but I don’t think they’ll be coming apart anytime soon. The black eye lining is flawless and beautiful. I have found no hot glue strings or blobs anywhere. The tongue is also glued in, but it’s secured by a piece of the felt(? not minky) overtop and glued down.
Overall, I love the head’s appearance and am beyond satisfied with it.

Overall, the maker was fairly pleasant to work with. I am very happy with what she made for me. We did a trade, and it was one of the most stress free commission experiences I have ever gone through. Actually, I’d say it was the best commission experience I’ve ever had with a maker. She went out of her way to make sure I was absolutely comfortable. She even made the head before I shipped out my end because I was not allowed to (due to prior experiences). She gave me a day she was gonna ship out my head and shipped it (missed the first date but again, followed up the next day as promised). Communication was always very clear. I got many WIPs and I was very happy with that because of how picky I am with shape. She took videos of her wearing the head and sent them to me.
I highly recommend anyone who is anxious of commissioning or has had bad experiences with it to commission Red Crocodile Creations. You can tell the maker is passionate about the work. They only put out things they’re proud of and she makes the overall commissioning experience fairly stress free to the customer.
