Informed Maker of Issues Yes, one of the belt loops on the tail broke off after multiple times wearing it. Maker suggested a blanket stitch to fix it, and apologized. It was a very easy fix. Review Video Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction The head is very comfortable and the vision and ventilation are fantastic. Visually, there isn’t a blind spot and I can see directly in front of me without having to turn my head much if at all. The inside is lined with breathable spandex, and I can wear it for multiple hours at a time. The maker tried a new technique to give the head the appearance of having a neck rather than just fur coming off the head. It looks great, however it makes putting it on only slightly difficult and I have to push down from the top of the head. Once it’s on though, it fits perfectly and doesn’t strangle. This was also the maker’s first time working with magnetic eyelids which came out great. The eyelids are strong and have no problem staying attached where they’re supposed to be. Visual Satisfaction The colors are beautiful; this maker is amazing at coming up with designs with color combinations that work really well together. The markings are even with no lopsidedness, though some of the shaving on the stripes under the eyes are a little too short but this isn’t noticeable unless you’re looking for it. The eyes are follow me, and have some glitter that adds a nice sparkle to the eyes. The maker has greatly improved on mouth shape and smiles, and used sturdy felt teeth in the front. There is a nice combination of short and long fur, especially on the cheeks. The nose, horns, inner ears, and nose scales are made from minky, and the horns are extremely hard and durable. The head not only matches the original reference sheet the maker made, but also fits the personality that I designed for her. The eyelids really help with emoting more, and add a lot more personality to the suit. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction The paws are extremely comfortable; the paw pads and claws are made of minky, and the underside of the paws and fingers are shaved. They are four fingered paws with some stuffing in the pads, and there is a minky band around the wrist for comfort. The inside of the paws are also lined with the same spandex, and they have no trouble staying on even while shaking your hands. Visual Satisfaction The paws match the original ref sheet, and look great with the different colors and patterns. The claws do a great job of sitting on top of the fingers, but due to use have bent a little bit (they are soft claws). Tails Wear Satisfaction The tail is a floor dragger with two belt loops on the base. When I’m walking it follows behind really well, even with turning so I don’t really worry about stepping on it, and I have a lot of fun playing with it (such as hugging it). One of the belt loops did break after some wear, but it was easily fixable and now I have no problems with it. Visual Satisfaction The spines and underside are made of minky and keep the original design, as well as make the tail pop with the rest of it being solid black. The end of the tail is a large white puff ball that’s very soft and squeezable. The tail is my favorite part with how long it is and how soft the fur and minky are together. Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? I’ve been in love with the color patterns and character design since I saw the ref sheet. Everything fits great, especially since the maker did not have my measurements for the head. The maker did a fantastic job finding minky that matched the exact color of the fur, and the colors really help make the black and white pattern pop more. I love that the species design has a nice even mixture of dragon and dog while allowing it to be its own thing. Overall Project Quality I love everything about this suit. This is my second suit from this maker in less than a year, and I can see so many improvements in so many areas. Purchase Process Initial Contact Extremely easy, I talk to the maker all the time on Instagram Maker Response Time Responded immediately and kept contact on Instagram Maker Professionalism I love working with this maker. Even as a premade, she asked my my opinion on some design choices, and always let me know when the suit would be worked on. We didn’t really have an ETA, I was in no rush to receive the suit, but she still finished it in really good time. Project Completion Time The suit was completed and shipped out in about two months. There wasn’t really an expected ETA except before the new year, and it didn’t matter to me when it was shipped. We were expecting the suit to arrive in about a week, and actually arrived in only three days! The paws and eyelids were in the head, and the tail was wrapped around the inside of the box to help protect the head. They’re still improving on their skills, but for a semi-beginner fursuit maker I love what they create and I love seeing how much they improve in such a short amount of time.
