Reviewer Information Reviewer Twitter: NeeNeeFox Relationship With Maker The maker IS a friend Prior Experience Yes, I have made suits myself and this was a second commission done of NeeNee by Splinterfox Informed Maker of Issues No functional issues, only issue was head fur is a different color than the rest. I am partially at fault as I originally commissioned only a head and added on the body and parts later. This was discussed with the maker, maker also confirmed that fur was ordered at the same place and appears to be a different batch. Character Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction Extremely satsified! Head is very comfortable, great vision and ventilation. Visual Satisfaction Very satisfied! symmetry is nearly perfect, and markings are 100% accurate to my ref sheet. Shaving is even and looks very tidy The fur may not have been the best run, as after about 2 years of use the head has some small bald spots (only noticeable in a very close inspection) expression is perfect! I wanted her to be happy and had additional feature, such as eyelids that do great expressions as well Special Attachments and Features Special head features. Wiggly Ears- very durable and expressive Pickable nose- seamlessly sewn into the fur Eyelids- beautifully done, attach with velcro. Unfortunately cut off more vision than I prefer (this is no fault to the maker, but something I hadn’t considered while commissioning) Body Wear Satisfaction Very satsified! Body fits perfectly, just loose enough to dance and move easily but not baggy. Padding is warm, as it was lined with fleece. Next time I would prefer a spandex type material. Haven’t had to repair a single seam on the body in nearly 2 years of use! Super durable! Visual Satisfaction Perfect! They created beautiful and flattering shapes for my body type. Fur is durable, colors are perfect (minus the head to body difference mentioned earlier) Symmetry is amazing. Special Attachments and Features Extra padding on thighs and butt. This was intended to give more feminine curves to flatter a plus size body, 100% nailed the shapes and padding is easy to situate. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction Hands have great dexterity even though they are large and “puffy paws” Feet are built on crocs which are lightweight and easy to walk in for the size of the feet. Visual Satisfaction Hands were amazing. Only critique was that after a few wears longer furs were brushed out of seams. Easy fix. Feet are very comfortable. May have preferred smaller toes for walking but also the size looks perfect in comparison to the body! Commissioned a pair of indoor feet (in late 2019). Beautiful and very comfortable smaller than in the outdoor feet and still look great with the body. Tails Wear Satisfaction Originally had a longer tail, which I commissioned a smaller one a few months later. Original tail was 100% accurate to my ref sheet, however I wanted a smaller bouncier tail after I saw one on another suit. Visual Satisfaction Love both of my tails! I generally just use the smaller one for cons because it is more portable. Flows seamlessly from body to tail, even though they are separate pieces. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? 100% accurate How well does everything fit together and match up? everything is nearly perfect! Head was received July 2017, and body wasn’t commissioned until after and then received may 2018. Approximately a year difference between runs of fur, which was out of my makers control. Overall Project Quality Couldn’t be happier! Maker could (and should) more because they put a lot of love into their work and it shows! Although we are friends they took my concerns into consideration and were honest with their limitations with me. I commissioned a full digi suit in 2015, mini partial 2016, new head 2017, new fullsuit and parts to go with 2018, and a head base in 2019 (not completed yet) I have also commissioned two extra tails, extra hands for first fullsuit, and indoor feet.
