The announcement provided a telegram handle for communication, where all details about expectations, required information and payment were sorted out quickly. Maker CommunicationMeylo is a nice person who communicates friendly with frequent updates on progress or delay. I was given several concept drawings for fur pattern as well as photos of the suit in progress with different physical versions of accessories to choose from. She was quicker than initially expected and informed me whenever she took breaks in between. Project Completion TimeSince there is no queue, the work on my fursuit head started right after the commission. There was no specific goal or deadline, but I expected it to take longer than it did and was pleasantly surprised to have it available in time for the summer conventions. The item was handed to me directly. Overall Project QualityI am very happy with my new fursuit head! I can wear it confortably for long durations and feel like I look good from all angles whatever I do, which gave me a huge confidence boost. It has not taken any damage so far. I took a long time deciding on the maker and saving up the money to afford it. Therefore, my expectations were high and they were completely met. The price is 100% worth the experience. I only commissioned the new head while keeping my other fursuit parts. The maker went out of her way to buy the exact type of fur my original suit had been made of to match the other parts. Since I currently don't own a bodysuit, there are no direct seams with other fursuit parts, but the style, fur length and colour match perfectly with the rest of my partial. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head is very comfortable and fits snugly around my head. It is entirey based on TPU, which makes for a good combination of stable form and squishiness, and has no hard parts that could poke me. I can comfortably lay on my side and rest my head in many positions (very good for cuddles). After dancing for two hours in fursuit, there is discomfort or hurtful pressure from the head. The inside is entirely lined, which makes it very comfortable to wear during physical activity like dancing. Compared to my other heads, it gets less wet and is ready to use again way quicker. The head does not have a fan, but the open mouth and large eyes provide satisfying air flow. Breathing while dancing works generally fine and the muzzle can be streched a bit for more fresh air if urgently needed. The large eyes also provide good vision. My two fields of vision from both eyes slightly overlap in the middle, providing a continuous picture of persons and objects in front of me. Visual SatisfactionI am very happy with the look of my fursuit! My design is not based on many markings, but the few ones are clean and symmetrical. The maker had to experiment with the long hair in my design, a process in which I was included tightly until she was sure I was happy with the outcome. In many cases such as hairstyle, eyelashes and eyelids, she made different physical versions and then let me decide which one I liked best. The shaving is clean and even and the fur feels as soft as fur is supposed to feel. The fur on the upper half of the back of the head goes in upward direction to create more natural fluffiness, but as a result is more difficult to brush at the transition to the other fur. The standard expression of the head is very cute with big follow-me eyes. The addition of eyelids makes a remarkable difference in expression and gives the head exactly the sassy to seductive vibe I was looking for. Two different tongues enable bleps and lip-licking in sight of tasty Bunnies. The magnets for attatchement are invisible and satisfactory in strength. The ref sheet I provided was old and did not contain the triangular markings typical for Foxes' muzzles. Upon my request, the maker added them and excellently managed to match my expectations to design. The decision to only add hair in the front was proposed by the maker and approved by me. I am happy with the look of the head from behind but like it even more with a fursuit beanie that I bought later to complement the hair style.
