As we were friends, we had each other as friends on facebook. Maker CommunicationContact communication was bittersweet and lacking from her side. Too much ghosting while asking for WIPS (I just received 3 wips in all the process of the making). Project Completion TimeThe project was not completed on time, still it was delivered as is. So, basically, the completion date was not accomplished. I had to wait 3-4 more months for it after return. Overall Project QualityThe satisfaction with the partial was barely good. I had to modify later myself to improve wear, air flow and durability. For the first revision the expectation were far from met, somewhat disappointing. For the second revision the expectation was met with some caveats. Components Head Wear SatisfactionIt wears so so, the previously taken measures do not match well my head. Visibility is trough the mouth instead of the actual eyes. The first revision was super uncomfortable to wear. For the second revision the wear was much better improved. Visual SatisfactionThe first time the fursuit was delivered to me was incomplete and all rushed up… the visual look was far from previously arranged. For the second revision: I love how it looks! Although the maker ignored a few comments and details it looks good. The symmetry is not so bad, the shaving was good. Hands Wear SatisfactionFor the first revision the wear satisfaction was very poor. They were too big. For the second revision, the wear satisfaction was still poor. The durability was below average, they got unstitched pretty fast (the first 3 or 4 wears) as well for the sleeves. Visual SatisfactionFor the first and second revision the visual satisfaction was poor. Paw pads were all shapeles. The color was ok and the materials looked kinda cheap. Tail Wear SatisfactionFor the first and second revision the wear was very good. The tail hook looks very durable. Visual SatisfactionFor the first revision the tail was extremely short. For the second revision the tail length was fixed. The symmetry is ok, the material looks and feel pretty good. The tail barely match much the concept art tho. Final CommentsI had high hopes with this maker, her toony style is good, sadly, her lack of interest on the project was a total letdown. And by a lack of interest I mean, lack of wips, lack of active communication, totally not retroactive. I had to push her several times for completion and that's not the clients job. Other than that, after all that disgust, the fursuit came acceptable. As I told previously, I had to modify several things so the fursuit became more usable (better air flow, visibility, had to redone the jaw for movement, added better cushioning and support for the jaw. I had to purchase another set of paws from another maker, I had to stitch the sleeves several times and re-glued some parts of the head.
