I found out through following her social media and also being a part of her Patreon, but I believe I used the commission form link she posted on her public social media (Twitter, I think). It was very easy to understand what was needed and how I could contact her best. All info I needed for the commission was sent to me via email when I was accepted. Maker CommunicationSpiritpanda was AMAZING with communication. She gave me so many updates and options for my suit to make sure it was exactly to my liking!! It was very pleasant to work with her and I felt respected and happy the whole time (not to mention excited!). I used email for the initial communications like the payment, but switched to telegram where it was easy to chat on a day to day basis and share WIP photos of my suit. If there were any timing setbacks, she was completely honest and kept me updated whenever she needed to. It was amazingly easy to contact her with any questions or concerns that I had! Project Completion TimeIt took about 6 months for project to be completed, which was expected as there were projects in the queue in front of me. I was never in doubt that my project was going to be completed in a timely manner! I didn’t ask for any specific completion date, but was thrilled to have her in time to debut her at a convention. As soon as she was completed, she was shipped out and got to me in good time through (I think) USPS. Overall Project QualitySpiritPanda did so well on Celeste’s body and matched every request that I had. It fits perfectly and matches all of her markings. The whole suit is amazingly seamless with zip on feet, a zip on tail and attached wings. I specifically went with Spiritpanda as my maker for her amazing digitigrade padding and was absolutely not disappointed! It is beautiful and easy to shift the stuffing as needed. Like most of her projects, I got a custom digitigrade leg shape made for my suit specifically, and was blown away by the final look of her. My expectations were absolutely exceeded and this suit was worth every penny. I will absolutely be coming back to her for future projects! Components One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThis bodysuit is incredibly comfortable and fitted very well to my body. It is surprisingly easy to move in with all of the components that it includes. I am very active in suit whenever I wear it, so it has held up very well for the time I’ve worn it. I’ve had to repair a few popped seams in the butt area, but nothing that isn’t very easy to repair. The interior has sewn in padding with zippers so I can easily remove the stuffing for washing. The padding is made with soft, silky black Lycra that is comfortable and cooling to the touch. It is also padded exactly how I requested it and I absolutely love it! The belly scales on the inside are lined with a thicker fabric to keep it stiff and looking crisp on the outside. She also hid the zipper around the outside of the belly scales on the front, so it is very easy to put on without any help. The amount of padding makes it a bit hot to wear, but that was to be expected as I have a LOT of hip and thigh padding. The suit also has attached dragon wings made out of foam. The wings are attached to a flat foam plate against my back and feature stretchy shoulder harnesses so that the wings stay up against my back and can flap beautifully. I cross the shoulder harnesses across my chest in an "X" shape and pin the X to my undershirt so they don't move at all. This is all necessary as my wings are fairly large and would most likely sag without these features! Despite these complexities, she is still amazingly comfortable and easy to wear. Visual SatisfactionThis bodysuit is BEAUTIFUL! SpiritPanda made the white fur lengths different lengths all over the body which gives amazing depth and flow to it. Since she is so simple with few markings, the different fur lengths really make her stand out. I couldn't be happier with how it all looks put together. I requested girly hip and thigh padding, which she did an amazing job pulling off! The fur itself is very high quality and incredibly soft. Dare I say the “lowest” quality fur is the long butt fluff (But, This is also a high stress area and I know long pile fur can have weaker backing, so It’s no problem at all). I sent the purple belly scale and wing material to Spiritpanda specifically since it was a specialty material, and she worked with it perfectly and made it look even better than I could have imagined! Her wings are also beautifully made with a ton of attention to detail. All seams on the wings are nearly invisible and are attached to the back very well for a seamless and cohesive look. They are also very durable and attached to the body with insanely strong seams. The small claw on each wing tip are also very well done and absolutely adorable! Overall, this body matches my character reference perfectly and I am absolutely in love with it! Tail Wear SatisfactionThe tail is a large, zip on tail that is full length but not a floor dragger (per my request since it’s white). It is AMAZINGLY well done! The spikes are perfect and my blades on the tip of the tail are durable and well made. The zipper is easy to get to and it’s overall easy to attach to the bodysuit. Since it isn’t a floor dragger, it is foam core, which makes it a bit heavy, but nothing that a nice tail belt can’t handle. The tail base is thick and durable which holds up the tail well. It is very durable and I haven.t had any problems with seams or tearing! Visual SatisfactionThis tail is amazing and It completes Celeste’s look very well, being beautifully symmetrical and shiny! The attention to detail with the continuation of the purple belly scales is great too. The spikes and blades are beautiful and stand out very well! The foam core gives it AMAZING, waggy movement and easily keeps it off the ground. It also has the same high quality fur and differing fur lengths as the bodysuit which I absolutely love. It matches her concept art perfectly! Feet Wear SatisfactionThe feet have my own selected and mailed-to-her shoes in them, which makes the fit snug and comfortable! They’re glued in very nicely and haven’t experienced any problems with them. They are digi-style feetpaws that zip on to my bodysuit to create a perfectly seamless and beautiful look. They are very high quality and easy to clean, attach, and detach. The lining is the same, comfy black Lycra that the bodysuit is lined with, which I absolutely love. I also have magnetic feetpaw bottoms on these (one outdoor set and one indoor set) which are AMAZINGLY DONE! I cannot recommend these enough. They make the wear of my fursuit so easy and keeping my white indoor feetpaw bottoms clean a breeze! The seams are incredibly strong for how I wear them. I can easily pick up the feet paws by the claws or dewclaw without any worry that a seam is going to rip. I had one unusual, errant seam pop at one point, but immediately notified Spiritpanda. She offered to have me send the foot back for repair, but I opted to fix it myself — I haven’t had one problem since! Visual SatisfactionThese are amazing and beautiful feet! They look of them is seamless with the bodysuit and I could not be happier with them. The claws are beautifully done in silver holo spandex. Just like the bodysuit, there are different lengths of fur on the feet paws which create lovely look — I especially love the extra long fur on the heels. It’s super flowy and pretty! Also, I have to mention my adorable little dewclaw! The attention to detail is ridiculous, as she put a little, shiny bean on the dewclaw too. It was unexpected and I absolutely love the amazing attention to detail and how well they match my ref sheet! Special FeaturesThe feetpaws have magnetic bottoms on them which are absolutely astounding and seamless. I have indoor and outdoor soles, which both work incredibly well for walking and showing off!! They are easy to pop in and out to swap between indoor and outdoor soles and make cleaning a breeze. They might make the feet a bit heavier, but that’s expected!
