Head

How satisfied are you with the fit of the head?
Is it too tight or loose? Does anything poke you, stab you, make it uncomfortable to wear? Is it lined comfortably?
Very satistfied, the fit is perfect, and the lining is very comfortable.

How is the ventilation?
Can you breathe well? Is the mask stuffy? Does the air circulate through your head?
Because of the huge opening needed for the beak, ventilation is amazing! The lining inside also makes it easy to tuck the lower beak under my chain for better breathing if needed.

How is the vision?
Can you see well in front of you? Is there a large blind spot? Do you have to turn your head to see? (Note: most suits do not have peripheral vision)
There is of course a larger blind spot than most suits because of the shape and length of the beak, but this is in no way a mistake by the maker, it’s just part of the character design and I knew beforehand that this would be something I’d have to work around. Besides that however, vision is great!

How is the symmetry?
Are the eyes or ears lopsided? Are the markings symmetrical per character design?
One eye was just a tad bit lopsided when I first received the head, but it was easily scooted up and glued back in place when I got it.

Is the shaving even?
Can you see the backing? Is it choppy? Is the transition to long fur what you were looking for?
It’s a bit too long in some spots here and there, but overall the shaving job is very smooth and clean. I did just a little bit of trimming myself to keep everything in check after wearing the head a few times.

How satisfied are you with the expression and overall appearance of the head?
VERY satisfied! Kita has a very happy yet relaxed expression, which fits the character perfectly.

How is the quality of the ears? Are you satisfied with the materials used?
Are they too cumbersome? Can you pull on them without tearing? Are they even on your head?
The ears are perfect. A minky fabric was used for the interior, and it makes them so soft! The shape is exactly what I was looking for, and the airbrushing is very nicely done on the back. They also wiggle just a bit, but are not loose, and create a cute movement while performing in the suit.

How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art?

Very satisfied! A big concern of mine going into this was the beak, I’ve seen others make the mistake of givng a predator beak to a corvid. But Fursonalities made the correct shape without me having to say anything! Outside of that aspect, Kita has a pretty simple design to her face, and they were able to get everything spot-on perfect.

How satisfied are you with how well everything fits together and matches up?
Do you markings match up at the seams? Are the colors consistent?
Very satisfied, everything is consistent with the reference provided.

How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
They responded within the same day to my initial quote request, and kept in good contact with me throughtout the project being built. Some contact was through email, and quicker replies were through Twitter on occassion.

How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take them to respond?
Very! They were very quick to respond to any questions I had.

How satisfied are you with the level of professionalism and friendliness of the maker?
Were they pleasant to work with?
This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had with any kind of commission! Uru is very sweet and totally professional when it comes to their work.

How satisfied are you with how the deadline was met for completion of your project?
Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
The head was actually done a few weeks earlier than I expected! The original due date was Megaplex (July 31-Aug 2) and it was delivered to me on July 17th

How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
Extremely satisfied, and I’m actually thinking about commissioning them again.

How satisfied are you with the overall customer service with the maker?
Same as above, this was such a good experience

Final Comments
I think the only con was the one eye slipping just a bit during shipment, but other than that, everything is definitely a pro! I would suggest Fursonalities to everyone I know looking for a fursuit, this was a great experience to have for my first time commissioning someone for a suit.
