Maker CommunicationVery satisfied with the communication. They got back to me pretty quickly Project Completion TimeI did get in the queue about halfway through and had my suit about a year after. They were very honest about their long wait time and were working on improving it. They made several announcements about their queue and have made changes to fix that long wait time. Overall Project QualityI am very satisfied with my suit and how SplinterFox brought my character to life. They did a wonderful job and were attentive and communicative. It is definitely worth the price I paid. Originally the slot was for a premade design that another had to back out of. I bought the slot about 2 years into the queue and asked if I could swap my character, which they agreed to do for me. Components Head Wear SatisfactionVery comfortable and fits incredibly well. There is a little wiggly room, but the head still fits snuggly without slipping. It has a build in balaclava so it is silky and soft inside. The vision is wonderful and ventilation is good. I do have to turn my head ever so slightly to see directly in front of me, but the blind spot is about an inch or smaller. The head rests on my cheeks and forehead with little to no pressure on my nose. The entire head can go in my washing machine! I do place it inside of a pillow case for a little protection, but it is entirely machine washable and I don't have to worry about the eyes being damaged! Visual SatisfactionThe head is very well made, soft and looks amazing. The lower jaw is very slightly uneven, but it is very hard to tell unless you are doing a thorough examination. There is one spot where the fur is shaved a little too short on one ear, but I was notified of this and did not feel the need to have it fixed, since that would have required the maker completely redoing the head for one little spot. The markings are accurate and sewn together very well with no gapping. There is no gapping around the eyes and the eyes are very secure. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit does feel a little too big in the abdomen, but it looks nice when worn. The neckline feels a little large, but I have only worn a suit where the neck was fitted with a collar that tucked inside the head, so it's probably just because I am not used to having an actual T shirt like neckline. I can move freely in the bodysuit without tension or feeling like I might pop a seam. The bodysuit is not lined, but it is not coarse or scratchy either, like the other suit I have worn. It is breathable to an extent and is entirely machine washable. It does not get hot immediately. I did add a cotton strap to my thigh padding to hold them up and in place. Before I did this the padding would pull my entire suit down which pulled on my back and shoulders and became painful. I have a back injury with chronic pain, but adding the strap that goes over my belt helps alleviate the strain and pulling and keeps the thigh padding in place. Visual SatisfactionThe markings are symmetrical and match my design. I love the colors chosen, they are almost identical to what I envisioned. The fur was left long, which matches my design, so there is no shaving on the bodysuit. The zipper hides well, except at the very top if I lift my head up too high. There is no bleeding from color to color. The fur brushes well and does not shed after initial washing and wear. Hands Wear SatisfactionThe hands are very comfortable and fit extremely well. I am able to grab and pick up most items, so I can be pretty independent when suiting. That's a huge plus for me since I don't have a handler. The nails are sewn on very well and the padding is secure. I do not feel any gaps or holes inside when wearing. They are not lined however they are soft inside. The paw pads are sewn on very well with no gapping. Visual SatisfactionThe paws look great and match up with the suit very well, when tucked into the sleeves. They look great when worn like a partial as well. The shaving is even and there is no bleeding between colors. The claws are a little crooked, but there are no major flaws. Tail Wear SatisfactionThe tail is solid and sewn very well. It does not hang crooked and matches the suit seamlessly. The markings are correct and transition without any gapping. I do not feel any holes or gaps in the stitching and seams. The belt loops are strong and sturdy. Visual SatisfactionThe tail looks great. The markings match my design and look pleasing. The tail looks great when worn as a partial and fullsuit. Feet Wear SatisfactionThe feet are incredibly comfortable and fit well. They are soft with little wiggle room. I do not worry about them falling off while I walk. The claws are sewn on very well. Visual SatisfactionThe feet look amazing. They are symmetrical and shaved evenly.
