I watched the creating of this suit, which is what originally peaked my interest in it. The original price was out of my reach, so once it came in to my range I knew I had to pounce. I contacted the maker via their instagram, which the were punctual responding to
Pink was regularly quick to respond, offer information, and send proof of the suit being packed+shipped. They had a very pleasant attitude and I had no issue in communications. They were even so generous as to cover international shipping on the rather large box
This suit was complete upon purchase as it was a premade. Once I made my first payment, I was sent photo proof of the suit being packaged and prepped for shipping. Almost immediately after paying it off, the suit was shipped and arrived within a month
I am beyond pleased with the quality of this suit; it is so high that I often find myself scared to ruin it! The suit is a pleasure to wear and a joy to perform in. It was ABSOLUTELY worth the price paid for it ($2K, marked down from its original $6k price tag). I see a long life ahead for this suit
This head is incredibly comfortable and easy to wear. A little on the heavier side, which is to be expected due to the hard-shell base and large ears, but is not heavy enough to become an issue. Head is fully lined with fleece, padded, has an adjustable nylon strap which holds the head securely, as well as a very proficient moving jaw mechanism. Zipper in the neck does not catch and makes for a comfortably snug fit. Even with both sets of teeth in, ventilation is great! Mouth can easily be opened wide enough to eat or drink from. Vision is great as well, which is hard to come by with manokit suits. Hardly any blind spot to speak of and a nice choice of eye mesh.
Absolutely STUNNING head. The amount of hand-sewn detail is impossible to describe. So many details that are often unnoticed; complete fur “false teeth”, removable glow in the dark “real” teeth, removable and posable tongue, bells on both ears, ribs on the inside of the ears, strong magnetic nose, use of dry brushing even where it seems unnecessary. Use of fur type/length/shaving is intentional and even. His custom neck ruffle fits comfortably around the neck of the suit and looks perfect. He is great on camera no matter the angle! I love his sinister smirk
These puppies are big, but they do not disappoint. Despite their combined finger and claw size, I found it possible to navigate cons which holding props comfortably. On the same hand, they are also incredibly easy to slip on and off for even better access. Neoprene lining and cuffs make for a very comfortable wear. So far after a year of owning and multiple events, no seams have popped
Just as visually impressive as the rest of the suit. Every checker is hand sewn. The claws are huge, wiggly, and a big hit with audiences. Fur shaving is frankly impressive. Paws are stuffed to perfect firmness as to lack looseness but remain accessible. Fur on palms has yet to matt
My one complaint is that the weight of this tail unfortunately stops it from standing straight up. This has since been fixed by replacing the stuffing with an inflatable core. That being said, the stuffing offered great movement while it was in play. A built in hidden belt loop keeps the tail snug to the wearer. Despite its size (2+ feet) and INSANE detail, even with personal work being done, no seams have popped
Where do I start? Pictures hardly do this piece of art justice. Every angle has more detail to behold, even those that aren’t seen when worn (a hand-embroidered balloon at the base of his tail!). EVERY checker is hand sewn. There is use of multiple shades of white AND red. The details of the fur Pennywise face and string of the balloon are smaller than a quarter of an inch and also all hand-sewn. I envy the talent and patience that went into creating this tail!
RedRum has many previously mentioned special features. These include multiple magnetic or velcro pieces, glow in the dark pieces, posable parts, jingle bells, props, and wardrobe accessories. All of these are one of a kind to the suit and greatly enhance its look. For this reason I am hesitant to bring his magnetic nose to events for fear of losing it. Every Velcro piece, however, I have utmost confidence in, as they hold incredibly well.
