The maker had a simple quote form to fill out and later contacted me through email to ask some follow up questions to get a final quote. It was dealt with quickly and professionally.
They never took more than a day to respond to my queries (and I had many) and remained polite throughout. We started quite formal with signing off emails but soon became more comfortable and both began using email more casually, but still remained only talking about the suit and processes.
I was very satisfied with the time as I introduced an optional deadline after a month or so (before they had started my suit). They managed to get it done just in time for my first convention. They used a trello page to keep all commissioners up to date of their position in the queue and how their suit was coming along. We decided together to go for a rush shipping through DHL, and I could track it all the way to my door.
Overall I am very happy with the suit I received. The quality is next to none and with only one minor construction issue I would certainly consider going to Jing again. Despite the minor design flaws only I have seemed to notice, showing how minor they truly are, and they don't detract from the overall look of the suit at all. The head is expressive and constructed perfectly, and the rest of the suit follows suit. While the suit was more expensive than your standard partial it had many extras such as large wings, a large tail, multiple feet, maglids, and a complex head design with unusual species (a first time for the maker I might add).
The head is very well fitted, especially given I have a larger than average head. There is a little room around the chin that gives a little bit of looseness, but being able to move my mouth certainly makes up for that.
Breathing in the head is very easy, and that is saying something with the size of the beak. The fitting of the head means that I don't get much ventilation to anything other than my eyes and mouth, but the stability more than makes up for that.
Vision in the suit is as good as can be expected for a fursuit. Thanks to the design I can see quite well as it doesn't have much of a snout and large eyes, and I can easily use a phone and take photos while wearing it.
The head is near perfect to the references, but not without fault. The tongue is the wrong colour but not too far off (pink instead of purple), but other than that it is very well made. The symmetry is perfect, the shaving is great, and the fur is top quality stuff. Expression wise I can get multiple looks from different angles and using the magnetic eyelids (see link for expression collage).
This is referring to wings and arm sleeves. They are comfy to wear and after a while I hardly notice that they are there at all. The arms are a little loose but that allows for more movement and stops me getting too hot. The wing straps are also a little loose but could be shortened with relative ease. Both are very durable and have put up with me bashing into walls and falling on my back with no damage. The interior of the arms have a few seems and no lining, but like I mentioned it didn't chaff at all.
The wings look fantastic but the base is a little unseemly. It is quite angular and not furred so it does stand out, but after adapting a shirt it is easy to cover. Other than that they are perfect in every other regard like the head.
The arms have a small issue when compared to the ref, but is better mentioned in the hand section. Otherwise same as head and arms.
The hands are a little uncomfy when compared to the rest of the suit, they fit well and are well made apart from one unraveled seem that was easy to patch, but they are a little scratchy when worn for long periods thanks to the seams, but they seem to be a good balance between being big for strength and small for comfort. I would rather something last and be a little scratchy than break after every use but be a joy to wear.
Like all previous pieces the fur, material, shaving and symmetry are all great. However the fluff around the hands should have been green rather than light blue. This was brought up during making but thanks to my miscommunication the green was added to the arms replacing some of the dark blue. It is worth noting that this was on the last day of construction and before it was rush shipped to me in time for a convention. This is as much my fault as the makers.
The tail fixed with two strong loops designed for belt attachment. It is much like the feet and has all the good qualities mentioned in the other parts of this review.

This came with two sets of feet, indoor and outdoor. I have no problems with the feet and everything positive previously mentioned applies.

The head feathers on this suit are very impressive and well made. Each was made individually and there are 14 in total. They are very emotive in that they move when the head does and really add to the character.
