Overall

Initial ContactI messaged them using Facebook Messenger on their business account. As this was a premade no additional details or measurements were required

Maker CommunicationCommunication is where the maker struggles. They took a long time to respond with information e.g. the tracking information was provided when delivery has already been attempted. I was understanding that they have a lot going on in their personal life so I didn't read too much into it, but others whom have suits by them have also mentioned to me about timeliness of responses, sometimes waiting a month before getting a response. When they do respond, they are professional and pleasant in their replies. Payment was made through PayPal and receipts were sent via email.

Project Completion TimeThis was a premade. The paws were made during the purchasing process before shipment. The suit was shipped on time, but didn't get the tracking number in time and had to collect from the delivery office. It was shipped with UK Royal Mail special delivery.

Overall Project QualityI have owned this fursuit for over 4 years and it has lasted extremely well in that time, with only the usual wear and tear signs you'd expect (the occasional popped seam etc).

The build quality is extremely good, and the suit is very expressive.

The maker used white fur from Mohair Bear which discolours/yellows quicker than most other suppliers – at the time of the build, this was not known, but it's something to bear in mind. I've been able to restore the colour with a small diluted amount of vanish stain remover.

Extremely good value for money. If anything they should be charging more especially in the current economic climate in their home country.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionHead fits well, was designed for a slightly smaller head than me so it's a tight fit (not the maker's fault!) but it's extremely comfortable so I have no complaints. The head is lined with a balaclava.

Usual blind spots one would expect in a toony head, notably slightly larger median blindspot than some other suits I have worn.

The head ventilates really well and breath-ability is more than sufficient for long periods of wear.

Visual SatisfactionThe head has lasted for over 4 years with only the usual signs of wear and tear. Markings were all correct. The head is extremely expressive and was very quickly able to figure out poses for photos by using a mirror.
Originally the suit seemed to have a small amount of airbrushing to fade into the markings on the face. I decided to let it wash off over time and not reapply it.

Only minor problem I've had – the eyelashes were painted over white felt so I have to repaint them after a wash or after a long time of use. I'm looking to stencil this out and get black felt to fix this long term.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe paws are 4 digit and are comfortable to wear. They are relatively posable (I can hold e.g. a bank card with them okay). They are lined and this makes them more comfortable to wear but they can become tricky to remove as a result. I'm happy with them overall.

Visual SatisfactionThe paws design is asymmetric with one paw being white fur and the other all grey, with blue pawpads. After brushing they look amazing, and are very soft to touch. They're easy to clean and are machine washable too. Claws are soft material and therefore don't always face the correct way, which is to be expected.

Final CommentsI am extremely happy with my suit, I cannot fault the build quality of the maker's work. The suit has lasted me over 4 years and am confident it will still look fabulous for another 4. If they could get on top of the communication, they would be a pleasure to work with, and despite this I would commission them again given the chance.
