Maker CommunicationVery open lines of communication. Any small issue or question was asked in a timely manner. I never felt like Thistlecrux wasn't saying something to me about my commission. They dm'd me update pictures as well as posting updates in a progress channel consistently. Any time Thistle was delayed in work, they communicated all that was needed and never left me feeling like they had "excuses". Project Completion TimeOriginally commissioned in May being told effectively 3-4 months (3rd in a queue), with me hoping for completion before November (MFF) – was completed in just under 3 months which was well in time for Megaplex. Overall Project QualityVery happy with this commission. It's my first ever fursuit commission, and I don't think I'll be commissioning anyone again in the near future. The fursuit is exactly what I wanted and shows no signs of wear even after many hours of usage. I only wish I had more reasons to wear it. Thistlecrux has since increased the prices of their fursuits, and even still I personally think they could be charging more. Their quality is what drew me to them in the first place and was exceeded with my commission. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head fits very comfortably – the material on the inside is comfortable and doesn't get annoying even after extended wear. I wore it for at least 6 hours in Orlando for Megaplex during September, and while it was hot outside, the fursuit did not make me feel overheated. Short breaks every now and then were enough to stay comfortable. It is slightly tight getting on, but the material on the neck is stretchy and keeps the head stable while looking around and even while dancing. I danced in suit for about an hour and was not worried about the sweat or potentially damaging it – very high quality build. Hair poof on the top is colored great and captures that little extra piece that makes Fauxre unique in the right way Vision is as expected. Good enough that I'm not suffering, but it's a fursuit head. Visual SatisfactionIt's ridiculously cute. The coloring on the fur and the designs were really well made. I love showing it off to people and I had a ton of compliments throughout wearing it at con and local fur meets. It's kept clean well and the fur brushes really easily. Thistlecrux matched exactly what I wanted out of Fauxre. Hands Wear SatisfactionBig bappy pawbs. Perfect. As with any large four fingered paws, my ability to manipulate things is awful – but that's intentional. My friends love the feel of the paws and soft claws. Great for softly petting my friends and amazing for hugs. The interior is comfortable, and while my hands do sweat a lot in them, they dry very quickly without damaging the material inside. Couldn't have asked for better. It is almost impossible to get the 2nd paw on myself – but this is a function of being big large bappy paws. Worth it. Visual SatisfactionThe fur on the front and back is placed and cut amazingly well to give a big fluffy feel and look. Fauxre has a simple design, but very small color changes by Thistlecrux add in just a bit of character that make them beautiful paws. They've stood up to many many headpats and hugs so far. Tail Wear SatisfactionSimple and easy wear with a belt loop in the back. I bought a stretchy belt to wear that lets me use the tail even without belt loops. The design of the loop in the back makes it easy to wave my tail around without it shifting around everywhere, and it's still easy to sit down. The material is very durable and isn't showing any signs of issues. Visual SatisfactionAs with the paws, the tail is a very simple design executed perfectly. One main simple color, but really amazing fur selection that gives it all the character that it needs. The design of the angles makes it very easy to be emotive with. Great simple tail.
