Character Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction It is very nice and comfortable to wear. There is very soft lining inside and it fits my head perfectly. The muzzle is completely hollow so it’s pretty breathable, but it still does get stuffy, as with any fursuit. If I need more air, opening the mouth slightly allows for a nice breeze. Vision is amazing, I have a bit of peripheral vision and only a minor blind spot in the center. He is a bit heavy, but not to the point of hurting my neck, and I got used to it quickly. Visual Satisfaction He is absolutely perfect. He looks exactly how I imagined him. His markings are symmetrical and clean, and they match the ref perfectly. The shaving is very nice. There are a few spots where it’s slightly choppy, but it’s barely noticeable in my opinion. The furs she used are very nice and soft, and they match his colors very well. He also came with two sets of eyelids so I can achieve a wide variety of different expressions when I wear him. Body Wear Satisfaction The bodysuit fits me perfectly. It’s very form fitting and tight, while still giving me a full range of motion. The neck and wrists are lined with minky. He has some rather large leg padding, which can be somewhat motion limiting, but it’s still very comfortable. Despite being a padded fullsuit, it’s very breathable and airy and I almost never come close to overheating. There have been a few holes along one high stress seam in his lower back, but it’s not a huge deal. I reinforced the entire length of the seam as a precaution and it’s been fine since. The only issue I’ve had, is that as I walk, his ankles will bunch up and reveal my legs, so I’ll have to stop every so often and have my handlers pull them back down. It’s slightly annoying, but not a huge deal. Overall I’m very satisfied with the quality. Visual Satisfaction Everything on him looks very nice. She absolutely nailed his markings, and I love how she used different lengths of fur on him. The shaving is pretty even, again a few choppy spots on the one fur she did have to shave, but it’s hard to notice unless you’re staring hard at him. The fur is all very soft and smooth, giving him a nice fluffy look. The colors are all spot on as well. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction The handpaws are lovely! Despite being stuffed feral paws, I still am extremely dexterous in them. They are lined with minky on the wrists. They fit my hands perfectly! The feetpaws are built without shoes. They just slip onto my feet. They fit me comfortably although they are a bit big inside, so they can be prone to slipping off if I’m not careful. They are also quite big so I have to be careful when I walk, but this was expected. The inside is nicely lined, and the ankles are lined with minky. I also ordered two pairs, one indoor and one outdoor. Both have held up very well. Visual Satisfaction The handpaws are absolutely perfect. Easily one of my favorite parts of the suit. I love his little mismatched toes, and the transition of long to short fur. I even wear them around when I’m bored because they’re so comfortable and nice looking. The feetpaws are amazing! Both sets look very nice and clean. The shaving is very good and they are very soft and fluffy. The pawpads on the indoor feet are very nice. The only issue I found was some parts of the indoor feet had some hot glue smears, but I managed to fix that with a comb and scissors. She nailed the markings on everything, getting all of his different colored toes right. Tails Wear Satisfaction I ordered two tails. One attached to his body, and a separate one for partial suiting. Both tails are a joy to wear. They are very perky and bouncy, and they sway with the movement of my body when I walk. I have absolutely no problems with them at all. Visual Satisfaction They both look perfect! Very soft and cuddly. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? I used my own art as a reference. She nailed every single aspect of his design, and it translated perfectly into a fursuit. How well does everything fit together and match up? Everything matches up and fits nicely! The only issue, which I mentioned earlier, is that his ankles will sometimes bunch up, revealing my legs. He looked even better than I expected! Overall Project Quality I’m so extremely happy. Akamai looks incredible and has almost perfect quality. I’ve only had a couple minor issues. He is absolutely perfect and I could not be happier. Purchase Process Initial Contact Very easily. I sent her a quote through her form, and within a few days I got a response saying I was accepted. We then talked back and forth over the next day about all the details and features I wanted on the suit. Maker Response Time I am very satisfied. She would pretty much always respond on the same day, even at a con, which was very nice. I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be that easy to get a hold of her, so I am extremely happy. Maker Professionalism She is very professional and easy to work with. Any issues I had were addressed and fixed promptly, and she was very kind and courteous throughout the whole process. She was an absolute joy to work with. Project Completion Time I am very satisfied. I had no deadline in mind, and was perfectly okay with waiting, and she did not take long once she got to my spot in the queue. She worked very quickly and provided a lot of photos and updates.
