I believe I saw they were open on their website so I reached out either on a contact form or messaged them directly (been too long to remember), and communication was clear with all the details I needed to provide. Maker CommunicationThere was a rough patch with communication where one or two people from the TLC team had left, leaving the maker with one person on the team at the time. Understandably, there was not a lot of responsiveness during that time period. Each time I received a response though, they were open, professional, and honest with the situation and the delays caused by the members leaving, even offering a refund for the delay on my commission. Eventually, the maker was much more responsive as they got back on their feet! Project Completion TimeAs mentioned above, I understand that my completion date was delayed due to something outside of the maker's control. Personally, the wait was not an issue for me, and I highly respect that they had offered me a refund for the wait. I made it clear for months it would be ideal to have the bodysuit and feetpaws for Anthrocon 2022, and the maker delivered on that! It arrived perfectly on time and with tracking, and I had enough time to try on the suit before making it out to the convention. Overall Project QualityI'm extremely satisfied with the end result! I have worn it to at least 8 conventions now and I've never had any trouble with it. It's super easy to put on, fits perfectly, and all the markings match up at the seams. It is absolutely worth the price I paid and more. Based on the maker's previous projects, the commission is better than I had expected it to come out! Components One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit has always been a perfect fit! Since owning it, I have only ever popped one small hole around the shoulder, but that was a quick fix a friend did for me. I'm able to bend over, move around, and dance in it without feeling constricted. It has been through multiple washes and has held up super well. I'm very satisfied with the bodysuit! Visual SatisfactionI love how it looks on me. It does a beautiful job showing off my figure and does not look baggy anywhere! TLC matched the character design perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the execution. I had Harper's head completed just before they started on the bodysuit and I had a tail already, so I was worried about how the neck and tail markings would line up with the body. I gave measurements on the neck liner and tail, and TLC did the most PERFECT job getting the markings sized to these measurements! The markings flow seamlessly between the head/body and tail/body—you would have thought they had the head and body there in person to get it correct. Feet Wear SatisfactionThe feetpaws are very soft on the inside! So this is not the maker's fault as this is something I learned with my own experience using feetpaws for the first time, but shoes inside the feetpaws work much better for me. I had the hardest time walking at my first con with them and tired out much faster than I do now. I managed to slip in some crocs and they have made the experience much better! I am looking at having a new outdoor pair with shoes glued inside the feetpaws, and hope that will be an even better fit. Visual SatisfactionThey look wonderful! It's been such a pleasure seeing their work flourish ever since commissioning them. They have a Telegram channel with updates, and it is so exciting to watch. Ever since becoming friends with the makers, I can assure you that they put a great deal of care into anything they make and the results are always high quality.
