It was incredibly easy. I had a quote ready for me within 4 hours of contacting her. I don't recall exactly where I originally discovered Cullahfool, but I'm pretty sure it was through Etsy. The payment was done through an Etsy listing as well.
Of course, Cullahfool resides in the UK and I'm in California, so there is an 8 hour time difference between us. THis wasn't an issue though, and I usually received a response within a day. Or, more often, I'd send a message or response before I'd go to sleep and I'd wake up to a new message in the morning. Cullahfool is very pleasant and easy to work with. All my questions were answered professionally and with a satisfying amount of detail/information. All communication was clear, direct, professional, and friendly.
Very satisfied. It took a bit for the fur to come, as Cullahfool is a UK maker, and the fur needs to ship from America, but after the fur arrived the entire partial was finished in about a month. There was a soft deadline set for Further Confusion (soft deadline as in it was just a preference that it came before then, but wasn't a huge deal if it didn't) and the suit arrived just in time!
Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with the result of this suit. It's comfortable, cute, and is exactly what I was expecting when I commissioned Cullahfool. The style has exceeded my expectations and looks wonderful and I am very happy with the amount I spent on this suit!
Head feels incredibly comfortable to wear. I was worried at first, as the mouth opening was smaller than suits I've owned in the past, but the shape of the inside of the muzzle directs air very well, thus making it a very comfortable suit to wear for long stretches of time. I've worn the head for nearly 11 hours straight with breaks only to eat a snack and use the restroom. Vision is also very good. The blind spot between the eyes is easy to forget about and vision through the mesh is very clear. The inside of the head is lined and no foam is visible. The head also has removable eyelids, which magnet on well. I've only worn the suit with the eyelids attached and they have not fallen off or compromised vision in any way.
When the head first arrived, the inside of the head was way too loose and roomy to wear comfortably, even with the measurements I had given the maker. This has been an issue with even suits I've made myself, as I just have a small head. I added a velcro-in foam pad to the back of the head (took only about an hour to make) that now makes the head perfectly comfortable to wear. I like my suit heads on the tighter side, anyways.
The head looks amazing from the outside!! The shaving is smooth, the markings and build are symmetrical, the ears are a great shape, and the character design is matched well. I am extremely satisfied with the way the head looks. The ring of light colored fur that is supposed to go under Meros' eyes is nearly non existent on this suit, but it's a small detail meant to go in a very small, tight area and is often left off by visual artists that I commission, so it's not much of a concern to me anyways.
They fit me a little big, but I have small hands and they stay on so it's not a big deal to me. The hands have a sock-like edge to them that works like elastic to stay on my wrists so there's no chance of the paws sliding off no matter what I'm doing! They are unlined, but that allows for quick drying and they do not get as hot as they would if they were lined.
The paws look visually very good. Shaving is smooth. My character has no paw pads as rabbits don't have paw pads. I like the shape of the paws as well.
The tail is very comfortable to wear. It has to elastic straps at the base so you can put one strap on one side of the center beltloop on the back of my pants and one strap to put on the other side, so it stays attached right to the center of my back.
The tail looks great! It's a good size and symmetrical.
I have not worn the feet for more than 5 minutes. They are comfortable and fit well, they're just too big to comfortably walk in (this has nothing to do with the maker, fursuit feet and other types of paw slippers are just too big for me) and I prefer to walk in shoes. They are sock paws.
The feet paws look great! The markings are perfect, shape is good, and the shaving is smooth. The claws are a nice size as well.
