Overall

Initial ContactI asked her if her isnta dms were open for quotes on her tt, then messaged her on insta after receiving a "yes", then commissioned her about a month or two later. She works on a queue system, not a slot system, so when she's commissioned she just adds you to a queue and works up to you. The measurements were simple easy easy, just grab a soft tape measure and take the measurements myself. Though she requires a duct tape dummy for bigger parts like legs and body suits.

Maker CommunicationShe responded quickly, and updated me any time significant progress was made. Which was about once a week once she received all if the materials needed.

Project Completion TimeThe original email was before Halloween, but that was missed, so instead of four months it took five. But she is a college student who does this on the side, so it's no big deal.

Overall Project QualityIt's on the medium/lower end of high quality, it's comfortable, and visually appealing!

8/10 in my book.

My maker is a mature, and uses pre-made bases/parltterns for the time being while she builds skills, and I commissioned her with full knowledge of this, I'm really happy with how my baby turned out.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionComfy! Fits snugly, has a pouch on the neck for a battery to power the muzzle fan which can male it a bit wonky at times on my chest, but yknow, womp womp. I can see farely well, my vision cuts off at the sides of my head, at my muzzle, and the top of my head

It's lined in a thin yellow lycra (at my request to look like egg yolk) this lycra is better in both practicality and comfortability.

Visual SatisfactionThey're so pretty! A few bald spots here and there, not really noticeable, their muzzle is shaved a bit weird, but it's charming, kinda looks like under shaved facial hair (which i like), and the eye holes had (I ended up trimming them) very long fur/wonky shaving which would show up in front of the eyes, but not a big problem and fixable with a pair of fabric scissors.

The expression is cute, the symmetry is great, the fur is amazingly soft, but the longer/unshaved bits are hard to keep brushed (hair, neck) but that's not River's fault, and it looks very close to their ref (some colors are off but it's not her fault, we got the closest match we could find)

Upper Body

Wear SatisfactionThe arm sleeved are comfy if not a bit movement restricting (it comes with the territory, so not her fault) they get warmer faster than some of my other parts but again, not her fault.

They are really durable, not a single popped seem despite how generally rough I am while wearing it.

It's lined with some thick black lycra that can be a bit rough. But it does its job.

Visual SatisfactionPretty to look at! Though there are some wrinkles in the fur, however they are not too noticeable while wearing.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands are a bit big, even for puffy paws, but I do have small hands, so thats probably a me problem.

They are lined in the same thick black lycra that everything except the head it lined in, which makes them a bit warmer dude to the thickness, but oh well.

The claws are a bit wiggly, but easily fixable if I wanted to tighten them.

My maker but some buttons on the coffee for me to attach to the arm sleeves with, so when I'm not wearing sleeves in looks like they're wearing big friendship bracelets!

Visual SatisfactionThese are also very pretty, I get very giddy when I see the bright cuffs that match the rest of their fleshy bits (paws, inner ears, nose, eyes) with the cool Burton right in the middle of them.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionA bit lumpy to the touch, I can feel where some of the seems were reinforced, but not a problem. It's hyper motion, but does not use a standard hyper motion pattern, it is a curly tail with lighter stuffing in the front, and denser stuffing in the back. It has an AMAZING wag, and is very comfy to wear! It's really light.

Visual SatisfactionNice looking!

Feet

Wear SatisfactionLoose, fall off easily, and u comfortable. I fixed these problems by buying some cheap sport insoles, so it wasn't a bug deal.

Visual SatisfactionWonky claws again, vut again easily fixable, some loose soles and exposed foam that I fixed with super glue, so not a problem. There are a few more visible folds that are a bit more noticeable.

Special FeaturesAgain the paws have buttons on the cuffs to attach to an Itty bitty straps inside my arm sleeves,

My head has a fan in the muzzle and pouch for the cord and my battery, so it's cozy
