I contacted the maker through Instagram after seeing her commissions post on a hashtag. There was a slight communication error on sizing since English isn't her first language, but the fursuit head still fits.
The maker sent frequent updates, and all communication stayed consistent on Instagram. She was very nice and understanding, and probably one of the nicest fursuit makers I've commissioned. She even gave me a few extra products, like a collar and brush, for being patient.
The fursuit head was completed very quickly. It took only 3 months, and that was with a delay.
Overall, this was a good commission for my first kemono suit. The maker passed the first initial deadline, but only because of a storm that hit her house and caused the power to go out. She was very quick after that, and my fursuit head only took 3 months to make, despite the delay. It was definitely worth the price I paid, even if there are a few flaws I have to fix up. It's very cute, and matches the maker's kemono style. I would definitely recommend for any first time kemono fursuiters.
The head can be a bit difficult to put on at first. It's built on a 3D printed base with no padding, so the bottom of it scrapes against my face whenever I put it on, and can be slightly painful. Wearing a balaclava fixes this issue though. Once the fursuit head is actually on, it's quite comfortable. There's lots of space, and the eyes are big so you can see better. The ventilation isn't bad for a kemono fursuit.
Everything is very symmetrical and follows almost exactly as what's on the reference sheet I provided. The only problems I have is that some parts of hair were wefted to resemble anime hair. It's white fur, and the bulk process of wefting the hair has left parts of the hair starting to yellow. The muzzle, ears, and horns are also airbrushed, which prevents me from fully cleaning the head, and I can only spot clean. The fur used for the hair is soft, and the fur used throughout the rest of the head is medium grade. The maker also used wire to hold the hair in the back in place, and the wire is starting to stick out and poke at me whenever I hold my fursuit, but usually I just trim the wire, so it doesn't stick out as much.
