[YES] Kadarus the Cat Full Suit by Furoar
General InformationGives some information about the item and the person writing the review.
HeadGives information about the head of the costume. If reviewing a set of ears, the answers would also go in this section.
The head fits well, I can wear my glasses inside, a small 5V cooler allows me to breathe more easily, the jaw opens comfortably. The vision is decent, a palm-sized blind spot in the front and roughly 90 degrees view angle overall.
The tufts on the ears are slightly different, but it’s barely noticeable, and overall I am happy with how the head matches the design, even if the markings are not precisely .
BodyGives information about the main body of the costume. If reviewing a separate set of pants/legs or torso, the answers would also go in this section.
I am happy with how the body fits. After the first try the maker adjusted the body to fit me more tightly. All stripes are sewn in, so there is no concern when washed.
I like how the body looks like, both the front and the stripy back.
Hands and FeetGives information about the hands and/or feet of the costume.
The feet were an indoor type, with sandals as a base. The foot fıts very tightly, I regret choosing sandals instead of slippers as a base because it is a bit harder to put them on as the result.
The hands fit a bit loose at the fingers, but still enough to grab things.
Despite hand and feet not being attachable to the body the fact the long fur and the fact that the body overlaps them means my skin (or the black underamour I wear) is never visible, and I love this. The claws of the handpaws are made from the polymer clay, and the feet claws are sewn from the short fur. I chose fleece fabric instead of silicone rubber for the paw pads, but regretted it a bit because while it is more flexible, it is wearing down faster than I expected.
TailsGives information about any tails the costume may have.
The tails is held on a belt wrapped around my body, I can put it on through the hole easily enough and I’m not afraid of it being detached if somebody pulls it.
The curl and sewn-in stripes look nice, transition between the body and the tail looks smooth.
OverallHow satisfied the reviewer is with the overall buying experience, including their interactions with the maker and the resulting final product.
– It should be recognizable as a tabby cat
– It should look cute
– I should be able to open the jaw to be a bit more expressive
Completed suit met all these expectations and exceeded them in some regards, people were saying it looks good even when compared to a lot more expensive suits.
Even though due to the difference between the art style and suit style some stripes had to be omitted I am still satisfied with how it fits the planned design.
