Informed Maker of IssuesI was in frequent communication with the seller throughout the making process, and was kept up to date throughout. There were plenty of opportunities to discuss issues that arose throughout the process. For example, there was a misunderstanding about the markings on the back of my suit, which was evident when she showed me the mockup on my DTD.

Overall

Initial ContactI contacted Bunnypaws via Telegram and we discussed my needs for the project including all the different options for each part of the suit. Once all the features had been agreed upon I was provided with the quote. DTD was also planned in person, as the Bunnypaws is local to me.

Maker CommunicationCommunication with Bunnypaws was great throughout the process. We talked on Telegram throughout with frequent updates and queries throughout. She made sure to ask questions and provide updates whenever possible. Communication was friendly and easy throughout.

Project Completion TimeAlthough the project took longer than originally estimated, I was happy with the total completion time, as the maker had a lot of understandable life events getting in the way of making progress, but made sure to update me throughout. Work progressed quickly when possible, and in the absence of such issues would have in my estimation been completed ahead of schedule.

Overall Project QualityI'm very satisfied overall with the quality of the suit, and despite a few niggling issues which I plan to get addressed soon (wrists and ankle length), I'm really happy with the end result. It's been well worth the price I paid and exceeded my expectations, despite them being pretty high from the Bunnypaw's previous work. I have not experienced any issues with the quality or durability of the stiching so far, and am pleased how easy the suit is to clean and upkeep in general. The markings look great, and really show off my provided design well.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head is made around a 3D printed base, which means it's light and well ventilated. Vision is decent out the eyes, as they are pretty large, and the mesh is easy to see through. It fits well, as it has an adjustable strap, and can be adjusted whenever required with velcro attachments. It is lined, which absorbs any sweat that gets through, and is easy to air out when not in use. The only gripe I have is that the jaw is rather stiff, as the maker has not got much experience so far with moveable jaws, but is trying to improve in that area.

Visual SatisfactionThe head looks great overall, and even included removable eyelids for varied expressions that attach with velcro. These are easily adjustable, and would be cheap to replace should they go missing. The appearance of the head is very symmetrical with even shaving and very well hidden stitching. It matches the referenc image to my satisfaction, and came out looking very cute and adorable, which was the wish.

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit fits well, as it was based on my DTD that we did together in person. The range of motion is not complety free as it would be with normal clothing, but not restrictive in any meaningful way as moving around freely is only restricted by vision concerns with the lack of normal peripheral vision. The bodysuit is unlined and the stiching is durable, having withstood several uses so far with no signs of wear or popped stiches. The suit is not super hot, and fairly comfortable to wear for longer periods during cold weather.

Visual SatisfactionVisually, the suit looks great from the outside, with accurate representation of the markings as per the reference sheets. The colour choices were carefully made with my input to match the reference as close as possible while maintaining good colour balance between the choices. The fur length has been managed well to help the markings stand out well while maintaining a good furry look. The symmetry is excellent with no apparent issues.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hand paws are comfortable to wear with full range of motion, as we were careful to take hand measurements before the hand paws were made to ensure a good fit. The claws are soft and durable, and show no sign of wear. The paws are quite short, so frequently slip out of the bodysuit and show wrist. I'm planning to ask the maker to lengthen the bodysuit arms to address this.

Visual SatisfactionThe visual look of the paws is great, and no visible issues are present. Colour matching is good, and the feel is soft both for the fur and the beans. The look matches the reference as requested.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail is easy to put on, as there are provided belt loops to attach a belt to, and a suitable concealed hole at the back of the fursuit with a nice fur flap to conceal it. The tail is not overly large, and it well padded so holds it's shape well.

Visual SatisfactionThe tail appears well made with good symmetry and even stuffing. It matches the reference well, and has a good shape. It moves easily when walking and doesn't interfere with walking freely at all, and when secured properly with the belt, will stay in place well. It has a good feel as it's soft and squishy.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionThe feet paws are built around crocs so are comfortable to wear for long periods. They also came with detachable foam sandals for outdoor use, as the feet paws are indoor ones with beans. I have not experienced any discomfort wearing them, and are easy to put on and take off. My feet don't get sweaty while wearing them too, which is a nice bonus. The feet paws are quite short, so frequently slip out of the bodysuit and show ankle. The padding for the thighs will often try to slip out too. I'm planning to ask the maker to lengthen the bodysuit legs to address these.

Visual SatisfactionThe feet paws look great, and fit the provided outdoor sandals well. They are a good size and shape with excellent colour matching and symmetry. The fur is soft with no sign of stitching.
