Character Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction The fit of the head is perfect. Haven’t owned a fursuit with such a closely accurate size to my small head. Very soft, super light, easy-to-breathe. As well as very little weight is added to your head/body so the risk of any spinal pain is 0%. Holes are made on the sides of the head to allow better ventilation and hearing. Cleaning isn’t too difficult since the minimal foam structure allows flexibility to endure a lot. TSA has squished her many times and she always bounced back into shape. Vision is very good. Possibly the best I’ve ever had in a fursuit. Very clear, you almost forget you’re looking through plastic mesh. Visual Satisfaction Head came out perfect! Spot on to the premade concept art I was given since Skye drew on the furs being used. Fur is even and all seams are invisible with secured stitching. Super soft faux beaver fur used on the black and the blues are very thick gorgeous longer pile fur. The different fur types used helped her have a more scaly/dragon appearance. The follow-me eyes work really well and I do prefer expression with the eyelids applied. It could just be my stylistic preference but the wide open eyes isn’t that favorable, but still cute. I did ask for a fursuit similar looking to another dragon she had made before and she went over and beyond with it! Super generous! Special Attachments and Features Nyx comes with a moving jaw, as do most Thunderhowl heads come with. It is connected with magnets to help put on the head and maintain a pretty in-sync movement if you talk in suit! Eyelids were a last-minute add-on and I love how versatile just one pair of them are for multiple expressions. These features are very easy to adjust and I have not had any issues with them. Body Wear Satisfaction The body is pretty flexible and has some stretch to it for lots of movement. I’ve danced a lot and it has endured big movements without a single stitch popping out. The zipper is invisible but still easy to take off and on. (Does not hook on to the fur) there’s no lining but I prefer that since the lining would absorb sweat and cause it to stink up. But I could wear it consecutively throughout the whole con and still smell very clean as long as I hang it up and spray after each usage. The airflow is average. It hugs really well against the body so it can get a bit hot in certainly warmer climates. Visual Satisfaction Beautiful design with the multiple furs used as said about the head. The fits is 100% perfect and there aren’t any super noticeable wrinkles since it is pretty skintight. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction The handpaws are super comfy. I am usually not a fan of beany/puffy hands but these ones are so pretty and fun to wear. And plush claws that are symmetrical and proportionate. Same with the feet, very comfortable sneakers are added with cushion/support. Matching blue foam paw pads are included for outdoor wear and are very aesthetically cute. None of which are lined but as I’ve said, are preferred for better airflow and drying. Visual Satisfaction Beautiful design with the multiple furs used as said about the head. Tails Wear Satisfaction I mentioned not caring if the tail was a floor dragged since I don’t like dealing with them, plus it was an additional expense I didn’t need. But there was extra left over fur to give the tail some curve and not drag too much so it came out perfect! The tail is attached to the body with a zipper that helps to remove the stuffing for cleaning and hold it back in place. It is very sturdy and doesn’t get dirty easily and I couldn’t ask for something more perfect! Visual Satisfaction Beautiful design with the multiple furs used as said about the head. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? I commissioned an artistic liberty suit similar to a previously made suit that Skye had made. I was given a couple designs to chose from at it was perfectly matched to the concept since it referenced the furs they had available. How well does everything fit together and match up? Yes! All the seams hold everything together and I have never needed to do any touch ups. Everything fits amazing. First time a suit was not remotely baggy on me. The style has always been very consistent, if anything, each new suit has some bit of improvement in each one in my opinion! Spot on to the reference fursuit I wanted. Overall Project Quality 100% amazing commission process and fursuit quality. Purchase Process Initial Contact Very easy. Most contact was via email (contract and payments) and telegram (for questions during the fursuit making process). Everything went well and since I fit in the maker’s suit I was able to avoid making a DTD and she used her patterns/measurements instead. Maker Response Time Response was pretty quick. I never really needed to wait. Maker Professionalism Due to previous situations of being scammed I was still nervous about wait times and getting it done as promised, and I mentioned so while commissioning them. But since the maker is a friend we were able to compromise and I could relax and discuss questions about the suit, ask for add-ons, and the process was very smooth. I was told when I would be next in line and was given many W.I.P.s and updates on the progress of the suit. Project Completion Time Yes. It was done in the average estimated time and I was communicated with whenever I asked about my spot in the queue. I was allowed to pick up my fursuit safely and it was a very generously packaged.
