I requested a 24″ circumference head to accommodate for my glasses. The maker agreed to make it 24″, but did not. The head was too small for me and the fit is painfully tight.
The vision is terrible. The eye mesh is too tightly woven to see out of. The eye mesh is not pulled taut and is loose. It sags.
It is not wearable.
There is uneven shaving and glue mess in some places. Some areas are poorly sewn, especially the hair. The mouth is the worst looking part, pieces are falling off the mouth. The eye mesh is not taut and sags.
The balaclava is made from a sock-like material and was not sewn to the fur. It was also very dirty inside the head.
I requested fleece nose, teeth and mouth. Maker said they would use fleece for nose and mouth, they did not use fleece for these parts.
Material used for nose/mouth/inner ears/teeth and balaclava is cheap and low quality.
Velcro eye accessories and tongue. The tongue was fine, but the eye accessories were made of low quality material. Styrofoam covered in painted fleece. They look okay, but the materials are low quality.
They made a TOS halfway through my commission, they did not have a TOS at the beginning of my commission. They did not know how to send the TOS document through email, which was very frustrating. I had to keep requesting it from the maker, which was annoying.
They overcharged me for shipping and did not refund the overcharge. They did not ensure my package for the full amount I paid, which I would have happily paid extra for. I tried to explain that I would have paid extra and I was threatened with a lawyer by the maker’s husband for “stressing out” the maker.
After leaving a respectable review about my head and experience, they accused me of lying/slandering their business/and rushing them. They were very nasty to me and again threatened to get a lawyer involved because they didn’t like my negative review.
They accused me of not providing measurements, not stating I wore glasses and that I did not request fleece material to be used. I sent them many screenshots of our conversations to prove I had not lied and that what I was saying was 100% true.
After calming down, they offered to fix “minor” issues with the fursuit head if I paid shipping costs, but I refused. After such a bad experience with them, I no longer wanted to do business with them and the issues were not ‘minor’. I also feared they would have not returned my head back to me.
Do not work with this maker.
Would you recommend this maker?
This review has been marked with a negative rating.
This means the reviewer would NOT recommend Anthro Monsters unless they significantly change their practices.
Horrible experience. Was accused of slandering the maker and lying after giving a respectable negative review. The maker needs serious adjustment to how they do business and needs to work on work quality. Also, they need to learn how to use basic business tools, like email.
Very unprofessional.
Avoid this maker.

the shaving on the muzzle has me SHOOK
Im a friend of this maker. The buyer was constantly rushing the maker and demanding it be done faster and faster. I have seen all the messages. Also the buyer posted a. Video of her ripping at the head and slamming it down. This is the only person. That is also a fursuit maker leaving this maker a bad review. Out of the 100s of others. This buyer is sketch.
Should the maker of this want to submit a response to the review above they are welcome to.
Yes, I will ask. Would be nice if my friend the seller can post the video and the pics of emails. It’s very sad how much of this review is false and misleading. I have personally seen the fursuit head in person and 90% of the details are untrue, the maker did rush on the shaving and around the nose and that can’t be justified. I can only say that the buyer was rushing my friend and demanding it be done quicker. The buyer posted a video on an Instagram account that is now deleted of the buyer ripping at the head-smashing their hands down on it and tossing it aroundd while taking it out of the already opened box. I honestly think the buyer did this on purpose. There was no actual unboxing of the head. The box was already opened in the buyers “unboxing”
Hi. If you have seen the messages between me and the maker, you would know that all I stated was true. Perhaps the maker is leaving out some details. I have all of my interactions with this maker cataloged as well and can provide proof of my experience. If you saw the video and my messages, you know how to contact me in private. You can reach out to me there and we can further discuss it.
Also, I want to state I do not think your friend is a bad person. I just did not have a pleasant experience working with them.
The video in question was sped up by 2x-3× speed and I struggled to opened the package with one hand while holding a camera. I did no damage to the fursuit head getting it out of the packaging, but yes I shook it out of the trash bag it was in. It arrived in a purple diaper box, in a trash bag surrounded in used christmas wrapping paper/newspaper, I did not think this was important to show or mention. I am more focused on the product and the overall experience working with this particular maker. The video was posted on Instagram, which had a video time restriction so some of the video was cut.
The video had nothing to do with the actual issues I had working with this maker nor the issues I had with the product I recieved. I think it’s silly to even mention it.
I deleted the video, because the fursuit maker spammed the post with rude, nasty inappropriate messages regarding the written review that accompanied the video post. Including threatening me with lawyers, again. It was not worth the drama.
Additionally, I do not feel as though I rushed this maker at all and if I made them feel rushed, it was not intentional. I specifically told them to take their time and that there was no rush. I have the receipts of me saying these things. If they needed more time, I would have gladly waited longer. They did not communicate that they felt rushed or needed more time, until after I left my review on Instagram.
Jesus Harold Christ the head looks… of questionable quality to say the least…
