Overall

Initial ContactIt was very easy at the start and I was promised a lot of things which is why I wanted to go through them, I bought the product through PayPal and I found their product on Instagram and it was easy to understand what was needed from them.

Maker CommunicationThe maker took months to respond at a time and sometimes it felt like I was being ghosted a lot of the time. I felt like I was treated well when I did catch them around the time they were active but I also didn't want to bother them to much when I asked for updates to I would ask for updates at least a month or two apart but it just felt weirdly upsetting because again it took months to get any sort of answer, they did update me when I asked what was happening and why they couldn't work on the head but only when I asked. They had layed out the plan on the process when I gave the final deadline. But it felt like excuses in my eyes. And I was starting to lose hope countlessly throughout the waiting time between responses

Project Completion TimeI was aware of the place I was at. It took 3 years to complete which was not what I was told , I did ask for a completion time of mid April of 2020. The maker did not make the due date several chances I gave. They agreed on a date they gave me and yet again failed to complete I paid extra again for a rush fee to be completed in March of 2021 which months passed again and the did not provide tracking as they stated the postal service was supposed to email me the tracking which didn't happen , it came through UPS

Overall Project QualityI am not satisfied with the product as I paid a rush fee , for a deadline that was failed multiple times. I wasn't refunded for any portion of it even though it was clearly not completed. The head has some spots that can easily be spotted to not entirely be connected to the head base. The wear is okay but I wished it was finished but because it was about 3 years and it wasn't completed I was completely tired of waiting. The maker took months to get ahold of at times and it made me anxious and frustrated to keep trying to trust them on it. I had to put my foot down to even get any sort of update or photo which I only received updates in one month before the deadline. It felt unprofessional as the deadline for the 3rd time was literally a few weeks away and it was still where it was a year before. I didn't get what I asked for and paid for. And it was just unsatisfactory in the end because it was not completed even though they told me the turn around time was 3-6 months I knew I was behind a few people but I also paid extra to get it rushed for a con that never happened. I didn't start to worry until I literally ordered 2 heads additionally from two different makers who both had it done either within a month or at least 3 months both of those makers urged me to get a refund and the materials sent to them so they could finish it off because it didn't seem right. I had spoken to a lot of people who thought the same thing , it felt like a scam. I still adore the head to bits and Im happy it was nearly completed but I am entirely disappointed with the overall product. I did additional fixes and still fixing things I don't like about it. I painted the nose , and bought a jawset with a silicone tongue which took a short while to do , my next steps are to finish the next somehow , overall I still have to complete the product myself and spend more money on it to get it where I want it to be. I also want to note that they had worked on a similar head before mine that was being sold as a Premade which irritated me because I hadn't seen updates in a year. The quality is decent but I'm not sure if it's durable as again the ears feel like they are cardboard and flop around everywhere I have to wear my fursuit beanie that I commissioned Fursuit Beanies on Instagram for that keep them pointed up. The aesthetic is okay as I do adore the head. I haven't had any break or damage to it yet as I have been careful. The expression on the head seemed emotionless as it didn't have a jawset and it looked a tad odd without teeth. I think it wasn't worth what I paid for as one of the heads I received was far better and was a lot cheaper than this and was completed and lined. It did not exceed my expectations as again I'm very disappointed with it not being completed , it is consistent to the makers style though you can notice a few things from right off the bat. The head did fit correctly and I'm very surprised with it as I can wear my glasses in it without a problem and the jaw being sensitive. The colors are kind of consistent thought you can see it looks a little odd.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionIt is very lightweight , I'm not very happy that the neck is not attached or was even included , the head feels breezy as it isn't complete , the vision is great , it is not lined , there was no jawset , you can see a bit of fur on the inside , the air is okay tho I can feel the sweat on the inside , the jawset is very sensitive and doesn't entirely close which is okay , he was supposed to have a fan inside but was never included or shipped with it

Visual SatisfactionI find the head decent for the most part but I am not satisfied with it. For obvious reasons it wasn't completed , the markings are very stiff due to air brush , the ears flop to much and feels like there is cardboard in the ears which worry me due to mold if it gets wet, it's missing fur tufts inside the ear , the backing looks very off because there isn't any neck pieces in the front part which makes it very odd looking head. The fur isn't easy to brush in the front end , the markings look a little too dark for my taste where it was meant for definitions the face is very hard , he was supposed to have 3D follow me eyes which he does not . The design of it at the end was close to the design though again I'm not satisfied as it was also supposed to come with eyelids which the maker stated they bought to much of a hard magnet that the eyes would pop out of when added I had to paint the nose as it wasn't detailed and it isn't a squishy nose and didn't have nostrils

Final CommentsOverall I probably wouldn't recommend this maker and I wouldn't commission them again after that experience I had felt hopeful and excited at the beginning but lost all hope at the end of it all. I want to be completely honest with my review , the maker was kind each time I did speak with them but the experience was disappointing and the product was not completed as planned as well as did not come with everything that was paid for. This review is a beware review as again I want it to be noted it was a long wait for an incomplete order. That was supposed to be done in April 2020 and I didn't receive it at the very end of November 🙁

  1. Update : I have sent this head to a different maker to remake entirely. I have not received any sort of refund and the new maker confirmed there was a cereal box ear cut out with thick pieces of foamies glued to it and there was a hidden needle still in a seem I never noticed.
