Found out about open slots via a twitter post I happened upon while scrolling one day.
Quote was done via an easy to fill out form.
Response to my filling out the quote was fast – less than 24 hours.
Maker has a telegram group for progress updates, and a trello board for her queue. Total transparency into what she's working on and how things are coming along with very regular updates, plus a great family of fellow customers to chat with.
Once my suit came up for it's time in the queue, it was a joy to watch each step of the way with progress pictures.
The original ETA was ambitious, but with the trello queue and telegram group to see progress on the suits ahead of me, I was never worried even when it took longer than estimated. There was always plenty of open communication. COVID threw a wrench into everything, lockdown creating unforeseen challenges.
I am over the moon happy with the quality of my suit. Very durable double-stitched seams with strong thread. Definitely worth the price I paid and more.
Head was made to the measurements of my own head, so the fit is comfortable and perfect. It's made on a foam base, so it's light weight. Lined with soft cloth. Comfortable to wear for hours. I opted to have room left for me to wear my glasses underneath it, though in practice I never have. (I learned from trying this with the partial I got that glasses under a fursuit fog up and can't be wiped clear, but had already asked for it to be made this way).
Vision is decent. As with most fursuits, peripheral vision is lacking unless you turn your head, and the area directly in front of you below the nose is obscured by the snout.
My mouth and nose are positioned in the maw, so breathing is easy and not stuffy. Ventilation is through the mouth and eyes.
The head is gorgeous and matches my ref sheet perfectly.
The magnetic eyelids give options for changing the expression.
Putting on the bodysuit is amazing. Legs slip inside thigh and butt padding to form a digi shape. The big belly padding makes for a wonderful tum that I can't stop worshiping, and neither can anyone else. The belly is filled with polyfil, which can be a bit warm, but it is super soft and makes a great pillow. It was designed with an interior zipper to change out the stuffing, or replace it with a lighter inflatable filling.
The suit zips up in the back. A lanyard attached to the zipper allows me to get in and out without assistance. If I'm wearing a cooling vest, the fit is a bit snug and may require a helper to get the zipper up over that extra girth. I swapped out the sting lanyard provided for one made of polyurethane. (Most suits by Jewlz have zippers in the front, but the big belly required it to be in the back).
I opted for getting hidden pockets. Zippers for pickets disappear under the fur, but can be used to store a wallet, or cell phone, or hotel keycard. Opening these pockets creates additional ventilation.
The overall result of this suit is breathtaking. He's one of the best, most faithful renditions with respect to ref sheet that I have ever seen. The padded belly is nice and round, shockingly soft, and great to touch. The transitions from one fur to another are so well done as to seem natural. The fur colors are perfect.
The four-fingered paws are puffy and toony and easy to put on and take off. They match up with the arm sleeves and don't show off wrists. I'm not sure if there are supposed to be a left and right paw because they feel comfortable and look fine on either hand, interchangeably.
Very durable.
Great job with the beans, and the color change of my character's paws.
Tail attaches to a belt via two loops. A hole in the body-suit hides the belt inside. High quality craftsmanship on the tail means I can sit on it and not worry about seams popping.
Matches my ref sheet perfectly.
I opted to get both indoor and outdoor feet. The feet are made around a pair of tennis shoes, so the fit is perfect and comfortable.
Outdoor feet have a big flat rubber sole.
Indoor feet have vinyl beans. I opted to have claws on the indoor feet only, which makes them easy to tell apart without lifting them up, and means I don't have to worry about the outdoor ones getting the claws ruined from outdoor wear and tear.
Big poofy toes match the proportions of the rest of the suit and look great. Again, the colors of my ref are matched perfectly. The gap between the bottom of the legs and the top of the feetpaws does not show off my ankle skin beneath.
Magnetic mustache – This is fantastic. The mustache looks great. The shape is perfect.
