Head

How satisfied are you with the fit of the head?
Is it too tight or loose? Does anything poke you, stab you, make it uncomfortable to wear? Is it lined comfortably?
10/10 honestly, it fits perfectly and is lined with a balaclava so no fur or foam touches my face/neck.

How is the ventilation?
Can you breathe well? Is the mask stuffy? Does the air circulate through your head?
ventilation is perfect as well, her muzzle lines up exactly with my mouth and nose and I’ve worn it for 3-4 hours at a time without it getting noticably warm/uncomfortable.

How is the vision?
Can you see well in front of you? Is there a large blind spot? Do you have to turn your head to see? (Note: most suits do not have peripheral vision)
vision is the best of any suit I’ve worn so far, there’s a slight blind spot, but not so much that I have to strain my eyes looking out of one eye or the other to avoid it.

How is the symmetry?
Are the eyes or ears lopsided? Are the markings symmetrical per character design?
I am SO floored at how perfectly symmetrical she is, right down to the painting on the eyes. Her ears are super sturdy (I regularly hold her by just one ear or her muzzle) and the markings on the back are identical.

Is the shaving even?
Can you see the backing? Is it choppy? Is the transition to long fur what you were looking for?
again, I cannot believe how perfect the shaving and symmetry is, the transition from short face fur to longer cheek fluff is flawless and there is no backing/seams showing anywhere.

How satisfied are you with the expression and overall appearance of the head?
10000/10 HONESTLY she is absolutely precious, DHC nailed how I wanted her to look- very cutesy, very ‘kemono’/anime style with her eyes and short muzzle. could not be happier!!

How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art?

it matches perfectly- I had a very specific style in mind for chi, and all the little details like no teeth/eyebrows DHC picked up on. Lucky actually drew another concept art and sent it to me, but I don’t have any photos/scans of that handy ;o;

How satisfied are you with how well everything fits together and matches up?
Do you markings match up at the seams? Are the colors consistent?
She’s plain white so I don’t really know how to answer this question hahaha

How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
super satisfied, only took a few emails.

How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take them to respond?
Considering the awkward Australia-USA timezone difference, I’m so, so impressed at how swiftly my emails were answered- I think the shortest time I was waiting was <10 minutes and the longest was a few hours at most?

How satisfied are you with the level of professionalism and friendliness of the maker?
Were they pleasant to work with?
I initially worked with Swifty via email and then Lucky via text, both were super friendly and quick to answer any questions I had. The whole DHC team was very accommodating and understanding about everything- from the awkward AUD-USD conversion rates and working around my other financial commitments to making sure chi looked exactly how I imagined her. I honestly feel like I’m part of the DHC family now ;w;

Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
It was done and shipped a little earlier than expected!

How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
100000000/10 again. she is literally a work of art.

Final Comments
I honestly cannot think of any negative experiences or cons to working with DHC besides that I can only order one suit at a time, LOL. already planning for my next fursuit and I am looking forward to working with DHC again! 😀
