I delayed telling her about the markings on tails being wrong because we were leaving for a convention together in a few days and I didn't want to put unnecessary stress on her. Features: Hair / Wig Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactInitial contact was pretty easy, she was a local friend and maker looking to take commissions. Maker CommunicationResponse time was very good as we were friends, usually an hour or two. The longer she worked on the project, the more unprofessional she became towards me and the suit. Project Completion TimeThe suit was first commissioned in November 2020. We were given a few ETA's. First it was partials by BLFC 2021 in June. It was later moved to October of the same year, where I received the wrong markings on tails, and a resin head that hurt my neck and left marks after I took it off. I put it on in front of her and audibly said "OUCH". She offered to remake the head entirely as it hurt me. Then the suit was finished and delivered to me in February of 2022. Overall Project QualityAt first glance she generally resembles the provided reference. Upon closer inspection, however, numerous problems arose that required extensive repairs with additional costs. I was promised a high quality suit as advertised on Feli's website but with the number of issues I encountered, I would not recommend her as a high quality maker. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe suit’s head hurt and dug into my chin with glue-coated foam when I first wore it out of the box. The head is built on a circle base and is very large. It is lined but only tacked down in a few spots, so I have to move the lining around when I put her on. Ventilation in the head is passable, but there is little airflow. Vision was a bit blurry but not terrible. The eyes were colored with sharpie and weren’t sealed properly, with very flimsy eyelashes. The whites of her eyes were 3D printed and painted very thickly in acrylic paint that had noticeable texture. Her nose was a hard clay covered in minky fabric that was completely flat and far too small for the face. They way her cheeks were glued down gave her a slight “jowl” effect that wasn’t very appealing. The fit around the neck was so tight that mobility was severely impeded and it was hard to move my neck or see properly. When I took the head apart to adjust the chin I found 3 pins left by the maker. Visual SatisfactionThe head is symmetrical and the markings were corrected after I let her know the white cheeks don't go around the head, as was shown in the original reference. The shaving on the head was okay, but the shaving on the ears was extremely choppy. The quality of the materials are good. There is sharpie bleeding in the lining of the suit's neck. The expression is a little blank but still very cute. The eyes are supposed to be "follow me", but arent deep enough to achieve the effect very well. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit has a lot of problems. The body is almost a foot too long in each of the legs and arms. The was disappointing, as the suit took almost two years from payment to completion. The legs would constantly feel like they were falling off and made walking challenging. The pelvis area of the suit has several large wrinkles that aren't appealing due to poor fit. A duct tape dummy was made for the suit, so the poor fit was disappointing. The body has sewn-in pouches designed too be filled with polyfill for the digi look. I was provided polyfill by the maker, but it had an overwhelming odor to the extent that it was unusable and I had to by a replacement. The pouch on the left leg has a clearly visible external seam, while the other leg is done properly. The suit is not lined. The interior has sharpie markings, which has since bled onto the clothes I wear in-suit. The suit is warm as soon as you put it on, but if there's a breeze the suit breathes. Visual SatisfactionThe body is symmetrical and looks pretty good! There isn't really any shaving to comment on. Materials feel of a good quality. The padding looks good, though the pouch is rather large and causes the polyfill to sag and distort the features somewhat. One leftover pin was found in the body. The suit matches the markings on the ref sheet. Paws were made for this suit several months ago and have no issues, but the claws have some orange sharpie bleed in all the seams. Tail Wear SatisfactionThere were two tails commissioned for this suit, a "bobcat" tail and a longer "domestic" tail. Both tails originally had the two shades of purple swapped, but this was fixed by the maker when I let her know. The domestic tail is very skinny and not really like the ref sheets or species (maine coon) I provided. One of Kita's prominent features is supposed to be a very large tail. One of the tail straps on the bobcat tail ripped clean off the first day I wore it because the ends of the straps were not burned properly before they were attached. Visual SatisfactionThe tails look fine, they aren’t shaved and move fine as well. Feet Wear SatisfactionThe fit of the feet was abnormally roomy, causing my feet to slide around inside. The feet are attached and only had a half inch of EVA foam in the bottom, so my feet hurt wearing her after about an hour every time. They are pretty durable, though there's very noticeable wear on the bottom of the feet already. They were lined with neoprene and were very comfy on my legs. Visual SatisfactionThey look great! not lopsided or choppy. When repairing the legs I realized the wrong feet were sewn on the wrong legs, giving the suit a duck-footed look as I walked, pointing outwards about 60 degrees. The design matched the art, they're just white paws from a pattern by Spilt grape soda on Etsy. Special FeaturesThis suit has a pair of magnetic eyelids as well as a magnetic hairpiece, as seen on her ref sheets. The eyelids attach at 3 points on each eye and fall off pretty easily if I move too quickly. The hair was never included on the final head (it had to be remade) but I do have the original wig. I suggested it be made of fur, but Feli promised she had a option because she wanted a more inexpensive option. This was after I had already paid for and agreed on a fur hairpiece. The texture of the wig is frizzy and cheap, and you can see the wig cap easily. It looks rushed and very low quality. The wefted hair was bluntly chopped and it gives a very unappealing style. It differs from the reference and is unusable due to it's poor quality. RatingFursuitReview rates by asking the question: Would you recommend this maker? Final CommentsI was excited to work with Feli at first. She lived close to me and was a friend. As this commission process for my suit went on, she got more and more unprofessional and rude to me. About a year into the process when the original head had hurt me to put on, and I told her the tails were wrong, Feli got extremely defensive and rude towards me. She blamed the issues with the suit on me and chalked it up to just me communicating badly and made me apologize to her. I got no apology back. After telling her this suit wasn't what she promised when she finished her "redo" and delivered my full suit, she proceeded to delete all her social media for about a week, and began giving excuse after excuse on why certain parts of the suit were rushed. I did have a 6 month free editing period after the suit was finished, but due to the 2 years it took to get this project completed and her hostile turn when I said I was unhappy, I decided to fix the suit myself.
