Features: None Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactI became aware of Whitewing Creations through a tweet for open commissions. A few weeks before I was attending a suitwalk where I liked many fursuits. When I visited her website I realized that almost all the fursuits I liked were made by her. The quote and commission process was good and very professional. The initial contact was through the makers website via a google form were quotes were created. Dates were clearly communicated via telegram and twitter channels. Maker CommunicationThe communication and information flow was very professional and all questions were answered quickly, either through direct messages or through the website. The main communication took place via Telegram and phone. The maker was very open and honest in her communication. All major steps were communicated and difficulties were openly communicated. She explained many things to me in detail on the phone and with photos, which was very helpful in clarifying things. I was involved in every decision. Project Completion TimeThe queue could be seen on her website and it was clear to me which place I was in from the very beginning. After it was my turn, it took five weeks to complete the project. I'm very happy with the completion time and there were almost daily updates via direct messages and via her Telegram channel. Overall Project QualityI am really happy with the final product! I could not imagine that such a beautiful fursuit can be created from a simple drawing! The look of my fursuit exceeds my expectations and is everything I hoped for. I'm really impressed with what she created and it's such a joy to wear! <3 The build quality is absolutely top notch and the comfort is incredible. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head is very comfortable, it is light and very easy to wear. It is well fixed even with stronger movements. Even after two hours of wearing nothing pinches or pokes. I can get in and out easily without anyone having to help me. The visibility is very good and the mesh is close to the eyes, so I have a wide field of view. I have no blind spot to the front 🙂 Air can circulate very well through the eyes and mouth. The build quality is excellent! Visual SatisfactionThe visual look of my head was my biggest concern, as I only had a rough idea of what I wanted my suit and head to look like, and that it should be very cute. She pulled it off beautifully and exceeded my expectations! I am super happy with the expression and the look of my head from all angles! <3 She brought idea and suggestions for implementation, some of which I gladly accepted (oval eyes instead of round ones). My suggestions were implemented after discussing them together (originally the head had larger ears, but I wanted a more compact design). We decided to leave out the dots on the muzzle, which I'm very happy about because they would have been a bit distracting. The fur is evenly trimmed and can be brushed and smoothed easily. Nothing rubs off or bleeds. The eyes are hand painted. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit is very comfortable to wear. It fits perfectly, it is not too tight, but also not too wide and allows every movement I make without restriction. I can do all the silly poses I want without putting great strain on the seams. ^^ Again, the build quality is excellent! It becomes clear that she has many years of experience in professional sewing. The fur is light and airy and as soon as a slight breeze goes it also comes through the fur. Visual SatisfactionThe body has turned out exactly as on the ref sheet, except the caramel color on arms and legs: When she got the fur she pointed out to me that the caramel-colored fur I had chosen clashes with the orange fur. She made many color suggestions and in the end we decided on normal brown. I'm very glad she pointed this out to me, as the colors looked pretty good on the ref sheet, but didn't work at all in real life! She replaced the caramel colored fur at no additional cost. Hands Wear SatisfactionThe hand paws fit like a glove because they have an internal glove fitted to my hand. They do not slip and they are not too thick and I can grip things well. Visual SatisfactionI have a pair for indoors and a pair for outdoors. For the outdoor pair the beans are realized with durable faux leather, for the indoor pair with minky plush, which is very nice and soft. The quality is exceptional, I am very satisfied with the look and the beans are so soft 🙂 You can't see the transition when you put the sleeves over the hand paws even if I move a little more. If I stretch completely it might be possible to see the wrist, which is ok for me because if I wanted to avoid that too, I would need very long sleeves, which would then probably look baggy. Tail Wear SatisfactionI wanted the tail to be removable. It is easily attachable with a belt, wears very comfortably and it holds its shape very well. The build quality is excellent, the shape has not changed and no seams are ripped, although the tail has been subjected to quite a bit of stress and has also been pulled on it. Visual SatisfactionI am very satisfied as the tail is exactly as on the ref sheet and is just the right length 🙂 Feet Wear SatisfactionFor the shoes, I also had a pair made for indoors and a pair for outdoors. The outdoor shoes have a fixed shoe in which you can slip in well and tighten the shoe laces very easily with cord locks. The outdoor shoes sit comfortably and you can also run well with them. Since the bottom is a real shoe sole I always have good grip and do not need to worry about slippery surfaces. The claws are made of faux leather and point very nicely in the same direction. The indoor shoes are so soft and fit snug as a glove. They are the perfect slippers! 🙂 Visual SatisfactionThe feet paws complement the overall look of the suit very well.
