I contacted Norsewolf over Twitter after seeing the premade available for sale. They were quick to respond and really friendly. They allowed me to not only upgrade the existing partial to a full suit but were happy to allow me a payment plan.
We started communication over twitter byt swapped to telegram because we're both more active there and it was easier to send multiple photos.
I was given updates even when work wasn't being done on my suit. It was clear they were working on other projects that were ahead of me and their consistent flow of work really made me comfortable.
When my project was being worked on, I got lots of wips and updates on where my project was.
I never had to contact them as they were very on top of getting in touch with me first.
Norsewolf always treated me very kind and the whole commission process was friendly business type.
I was told the suit would take about a year to complete right up front. I was ok with that and they stuck to that time frame. I got my suit in hand about a month before the year mark. They were always communicative as well.
Once the suit was ready to ship it was out the door and in my hands in about a week.
The whole suit is so well made and thoughtfully put together. It fit so well right out of the box and instantly became one of my favorite suits.
It's clear that the norsewolf team care so much about the quality and appearance of their work.
This suit has remained super durable and easy to wear over all these years. It was well worth the price I paid and the time I waited.
The head is on the smaller side but still comfy to wear for long periods of time. It came with a small fan in the muzzle that I don't need to use. It's fully lined with spandex and has a small spandex pocket in the neck for the fans battery pack. Vision is great! The suit has large eyes that make it easy for me to navigate spaces even without my glasses.
This head is probably one of the cutest ones I own. He's well constructed with no bald spots or shaving niks. The furs blend together really well without large bulky seams or uneven markings. His pattern is asymmetrical by design but everything lines up exactly as it should.
Hes easy to care for, clean, and brush. The short fur makes it super easy. He matches the concept art that came with the suit perfectly. (This was a premade design and suit)
His expression is perfect for a silly goofy dog. I get compliments on him every time I wear him out.
When I first got the suit the body fit perfectly. Norsewolf installed two short zippers on either side of the chest marking that made the front panel of the body seamless but still easy to get into. I'm plus sized so I was worried about fit with the smaller zips. But they were and continue to be very easy to use and get into. I've lost weight over the years and brought the bodysuit in myself where needed. And he still continues to be hardy and comfortable. The padding doesn't fall or shift in the leg. Seams are durable and I've never had to repair a popped seam. I'm very active and rough in the suit and it's held up amazingly.
The shape of the suit compliments my larger body really well. The padding is proportional and the transition between the bodysuit and other parts is really great.
The fur that Norse chose for this project is so pretty and perfectly matches the original concept art that went along with the suit.
The suit is durable and easy to clean and brush. It's taken several dozen trips in the washing machine and come out looking just as new as when I received it.
The original pair of hands are 5 finger and were fully lined. They were a little small for me and hard to get on. I cut the liner out and they were immediately easier to slip on and off. I told Norse about this not because it was an issue but because I edited their work and wanted to let them know.
A couple years later i bought an unlined 4 finger puffy paw set from from them and they fit super well and are easy to slide on and off. The fur used was the exact same fur from the original project and matches perfectly.
Both pairs of paws line up well with the body and if I reach above my head the cuffs of both the body and hands keep my wrists covered.
The 5 finger paws are great for dexterity and look fine with the rest of the suit. While the 4 finger puffy set are much more cute and cartoons. I personally prefer to wear the 4 finger set more often. But both are perfect for the suit.
The tail is easy to wear and proportional to the rest of the suit. It's worn with a belt that slides into 2 holes in the back of the suit.
It doesn't sag or sit up too high.
The tail is the perfect size and shape. It looks great both with the full suit or just by itself over some pants. It matches the ref and uses all the same great furs.
The feet are built on a pair of athletic shoes. They're exactly my size with a little wiggle room and fit super comfortably. I can stand for long periods of time without getting sore. I haven't needed to put insoles into the shoes either.
They are fully lined with spandex and are super easy to get on and off. They don't slip off while I'm walking or running and are very easy to walk in.
The feet are indoor style with pawpads on the bottom so a pair of sandals was included in the purchase of the suit to protect the fabric.
These are the cutest paws I own. They have a super good shape and match up super well to the bodysuit. The little claws are sewn in and all lone up perfectly. The pawpads are soft minky and are sewn on really well. They make for super cute photos.
There is a fan in the muzzle. It works super well and included a battery pack to power it. There was a small pocket in the front of the neck that the pack sat in.
I dont often use it but it works really well and hasn't given me any problems.
