Features: None Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactTo contact them for a quote, I reached out on their Google form they had posted on their Twitter and filled it out! After I heard back from them with a quoted price, I asked to be put on their next opening for commissions. The measurements were easy to get done and sent over to them. Maker CommunicationOverall, Shellsews is very great with communication! They always answer in a timely manner, and was a pleasure to work with. We communicated over telegram for pictures, WIPs, and questions, and they always answered me within a day or two tops. Shellsews communicated clearly with me and they treated me very nicely. They were very friendly and open to any questions or concerns I had, even before they started working on my suit directly. Project Completion TimeThe commission was finished in great timing. There is a queue on their trello which was easy for me to keep up with where I was in line! Shellsews wanted to have my suit done in time for Furrydelphia 2023, which they did, and they delivered it to me at the con. I did not have to worry about shipping anything. Overall Project QualityOverall, I am very satisfied with my partial fursuit commission by Shellsews! It has great durability and is very comfortable to wear, even for extended suiting! The time and effort is shown in every detail of Sky, and I absolutely adore how she came out! This exceeded my already great expectations of Shellsews work and style and I appreciate all they have done for me with this commission! Just being able to wear my head comfortably and being able to see so well out of it makes me so happy. I cried when I received this head and put her on for the first time, since with my previous one from another maker, I had difficulty seeing and wearing it around. It was well worth the money I paid for this commission, and I plan on commissioning them in the future. Components Head Wear SatisfactionMy head is super comfortable to wear! Nothing pokes me or anything. The ventilation is the best I've seen in a fursuit, and I have basically no blind spot in terms of vision. I don't have to turn my head much to see, except for of course to look at floor level things, which is normal for suiting! Also, there's room for me to wear my glasses comfortably if I choose to suit with then on. The head is lined with spandex for wicking away sweat, which is what my head does nicely and is comfy to wear! I usually still wear a balaclava with it to help with keeping sweat out of it though. Visual SatisfactionI absolutely adore how my new head looks on the outside! This is a 2.0 design, since I changed how her eyes were and her snout design, and Shellsews has knocked it out of the park! She looks amazing and so cute! The shaving job is very clean and seamless, and the fur is very soft and clean. Her expression is very on par with what I had envisioned Sky to be. The saber fangs and teeth are sewn in securely, and look great. Her eye scars were also done beautifully, and match with my original design. She has 3D eyes and they work amazingly with her expressive design. Overall, Shellsews did very well with keeping Sky to her design and bringing her to life! Upper Body Wear SatisfactionMy arm sleeves are very comfortable to wear to the point where sometimes I forget I'm wearing them! The movement is very nice in them, and I have good range without fear of popping any seams or anything. The airflow in them is also good due to the good range of movement I can do and them not being too tight. They are not lined, but I usually wear under armor with them anyway to help keep them clean and keep myself cooler. There are not any construction marks on the inside that I can see. Visual SatisfactionOverall I am very satisfied with my arm sleeves and love to partial with them on. They are not shaved but I don't feel like they need to be, as I don't have markings or anything on my arms for the design. The fur is super soft and comfy, and they match with the design of Sky. Hands Wear SatisfactionMy hand paws are big but super comfy! I got the monster sized ones, and they really do reflect on the size. love how bappy and comfortable they are. They are lined with the same material as the inside of my head, which is comfortable and good with wicking the sweat. These paws are not too good with dexterity but I knew that when commissioning them for the size they are, so that's no fault to my maker! My wrists do not show too much, if at all, if I stretch a lot, and they stay on pretty well. They are very durable, and they are easy to move around in them. I have not had any claws or paw pads come off, and those seams are very secure. Overall, these hand paws are great and I love wearing them around, especially around the house for fun! Visual SatisfactionI love the look and feel of my hand paws. Everything is sewn together securely, the fur is still soft like the rest of the partial suit, and the shaving on the fingers are seamless. The paw pads and claws are minky, and they are also very soft and look great. These paws match my design perfectly, and overall I am 100% satisfied with them! Tail Wear SatisfactionMy tail is comfortable to wear! It is light and very bouncy! It is very durable and soft, and I do not have fear of it breaking apart anytime soon due to the durability that my maker has put in with their sewing! Visual SatisfactionOverall, Sky's tail looks and feels great to wear! I also love cuddling with it when I sit down in suit.
