Overall

Initial ContactIt was very easy to get a quote. One small form was all it took to get a quote, and an application for a slot was just as easy. Initial communication was through email, but future communications were through Telegram. They were clear and concise about what they needed from me, and gave me ample time to complete my parts.

Maker CommunicationThey were very quick to respond, and very receptive to my feedback. They were very courteous and professional in their communications with me, and were always up-front about where the suit construction was at and when I could expect to hear more from them about my suit.

Project Completion TimeThe project was finished in about six months, within the timeframe they had given me. I did not have a hard completion date, though they completed the piece in the rough timeline they had given me. Shipping was quite timely once completed, as I had my suit in less than two days after it was shipped. I was given several options for shipping, all of them offering tracking through the different carrier options given to me.

Overall Project QualityI am exceedingly happy with the suit. Everything fits together into a perfectly seamless costume, and it is an exceptionally well-made suit. Everything is just so well-tailored in a way that only true professionals could manage. There are few suits that I've seen that can rival the quality of this one. Wearing it is truly a joy, whether as a fullsuit or a partial, and I would gladly spend the money all over again. I am excited to get more suits from this maker in the future.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head is fairly comfortable to wear. It's a little bit looser than my other head, but in a way that makes it comfortable without impacting its ability to be worn, and helps some with heat. It sits very easily on my head, and doesn't press or poke anywhere uncomfortably. It's lined with some kind of spandex around the back, and a felt-like material at the front around the foam components. It dries easily after wearing and has been easy to maintain. The zipper at the back works reasonably well, and while the tradeoff is that it's harder to don and doff by itself, the benefit is the closer fit that largely keeps the head in the right place. Circulation isn't phenomenal, with the only meaningful ventilation being through the eyes. The mouth is closed enough that little air gets through it without propping it open. This does make the head a little warm to wear, and breathing is slightly restricted, but not in a way that's distinctly uncomfortable. I have worn this head for a few hours consecutively without issue. Senses are overall pretty good with this head. Hearing is only slightly diminished, and vision is fairly unobstructed. I don't need to turn my head a lot to be able to see. The only real problem I have with vision is some of the paint has blocked tiny parts of the mesh, leaving these teeny tiny spots in my vision while wearing the head, though these are really just a tiny annoyance.

Visual SatisfactionI am thoroughly impressed with the visual quality of the head. Everything appears to be perfectly symmetrical, and all the little details are just perfect. Seams are basically invisible, the fur is all uniform, and it's a very good representation of my characters. What deviations there are I am glad were done, as they have allowed my character to translate better to their style. The fur is soft and pleasant to touch, easy to brush back into shape, and the ears have a pleasing bounce when I move my head. The follow-me eyes work well, and the neutral expression allows for conveying a surprising number of emotions, especially when coupled with the adjustable tongue. Overall, I'm exceedingly happy with the visual quality of the head.

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit is very comfortable to wear. There is ample room in the torso to move freely without feeling like the suit is binding. The chest area has enough room that I can wear a cooling vest under the bodysuit if I wish without it being too tight in the chest to be comfortable. Though, a cooling vest is not necessary as the suit is relatively cool to wear. I have successfully worn the suit for hours without overheating, in spite of the padding for the digitigrade look. I can feel some breezes through the suit, though the suit is relatively sealed when put together as a fullsuit. The interior is not lined, and though there are construction marking inside, these have not caused me any issues and are completely invisible when the suit is worn. There are spandex pockets in the leg area for the padding, which can be removed via a zipper on the inside. The suit feels very durable, I don't feel worried at all about popping seams or tearing the material while wearing the suit. I have no problem sitting in the suit for long periods of time.

Visual SatisfactionLike the head, I am exceedingly satisfied with the look of the bodysuit. Seams are virtually invisible, markings are all correct and symmetrical, and the shaving is all even. They did a great job of translating my character's markings to the suit. They excelled at achieving the digitigrade look, and the suit truly does look like it has "bird legs". Few makers manage to achieve that look to the degree this suit manages. The wings too are stunning, and the ability to insert a dowel into the "plumage" so that it can be held rigid past the end of my hands works exceptionally well at allowing me to still use my hands when I want the wings out of the way. The hole to insert the dowel is covered by a nice button flap that makes the hole all but invisible. Colors match the reference very well, and the fur is very soft and pleasing to the touch. I am very happy with the overall looks of the bodysuit component.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands are pretty comfortable to wear, and surprisingly dexterous in spite of the large claws. I can manipulate things like door handles without an issue, though more fine movements like pushing buttons can be a little challenging. I can put them on comfortably by myself, even tucking them into the sleeves of the bodysuit for that seamless look. The hands very comfortably extend far enough up my arm to make sure that my wrists will not show under any circumstance. They feel relatively durable, and the claws have held their shape pretty well. The interior is lined with a spandex-like material that is comfortable on my hands and dries relatively easily. The handpaws stay on my hands without any effort on my part.

Visual SatisfactionI'll repeat myself again, I am exceptionally happy with the visual look of the hands. The "scaling" looks excellent and matches the feet well. The scaling has a pleasingly organic look, but the hand structure is cleanly symmetric, as are the individual fingers. The hands are mostly soft, though where the "scaling" is sewn on does feel a bit rough. The vinyl claws are soft to the touch, and though they look wicked won't cause any damage to surfaces they come into contact with and have shown no signs of damage themselves. Colors match the reference well, and the general look matches the reference as well as could be expected, and I really like their adaptations to the original design. Everything is even and has an exceptional level of polish.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail is exceptionally comfortable to wear. It zips onto the body suit, and once zipped on achieves a seamless look, the zipper being well-hidden by the tail itself. When worn as a partial using belt loops on the underside of the tail, it's easy to forget I'm wearing it. It doesn't get in the way, and is basically invisible even when sitting. It feels sturdy, and not likely to rip under any kind of normal wear. I don't feel worried sitting on it, and it is very secured to me both when worn as a partial and on the bodysuit.

Visual SatisfactionI am exceptionally satisfied with how the tail looks, whether on the bodysuit or worn separately. It is beautifully sewn, with seams being effectively used to create the individual "feathers", and other seams are basically invisible. The tail feels soft, but sturdy to the touch, and matches the concept art perfectly. There's little else to say other than it's wonderfully crafted and I have no complaints with it.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionI am pretty satisfied with how the feet fit. They are relatively comfortable to wear, and because they zip onto the suit, they have a very seamless look when they're attached to the bodysuit. The zipper is invisible when worn. The largeness of the toes makes it a little hard to walk in them, as does the back toe because this forces a flat-footed walk, though this is a compromise to get the specific shape of the original character's feet. The feet are a little big on me, though not uncomfortably so. This is most likely due to me giving them a shoe size on the high end of what I usually wear. The feet seem relatively durable, and are only showing very minor wear on the bottom. They are outdoor feet, and have done fine being worn outdoors. They are a little tricky to get on, as my heel often catches on the interior stuffing pockets, though once they're on they're very secure. Taking them off is also a little tricky, due to the narrow leg making it difficult to get my foot out of it. The interior is lined with the same spandex-like material as the other pieces, and a zipper on the interior of the leg allows access to the stuffing inside the foot. Like the other pieces, it dries relatively quickly if given proper airflow. The claws, like the hands, have held up very well.

Visual SatisfactionLike the other components, I am exceptionally happy with how the feet look. The scaling, like the hands, has a pleasingly organic look, and the "outdoor" parts of the feet are very unobtrusive. Because of the way they're constructed, with the feet running up to just below my knee, they even manage to achieve a light digitigrade effect when worn as a partial. The feet are symmetrical, and the material is nice and soft, though like the hands, where the scaling is sewn on to the legs is a little rough. The colors look great, and perfectly match the handpaws. The claws are also appropriately sized, and match the size, shape, and color of the ones on the handpaws and have proven to be pretty durable as well. The bottom has a durable foam to make it safe to wear outdoors, so the bottom is nondescript.

Special FeaturesThis suit came with a costume to wear on top of the suit. These are just additional clothes for the suit itself to wear. The clothing is very well crafted, though the material used is notably delicate and requires some care to prevent damage. The main pieces (shirt and pants) stay on pretty well without issue, and don't require constant adjustment. All pieces can be put on the suit itself before donning the suit, so other than a little extra care when donning the suit, it's pretty easy to "dress" the suit. The feet cuffs have a tendency to move on their own. The sleeves, while beautiful, are a little annoying to wear. The fabric at the top near the shoulder and bottom near the wrist won't stay in place, and due to how close-fitting the sleeves are, the magnets must be carefully placed or simply bending my arm will disconnect the magnets. With all that said, Alva looks so beautiful when they're wearing the additional costume, making it well-worth the hassle and additional expense. It's just an excellent cherry on top of an already amazing suit. I would spend the extra money again if I had to do it all over again.

Final CommentsI highly recommend anyone commission this maker for a suit. This is the second suit I've gotten from them that has turned out fantastically. You will not be disappointed in either the process or the final result, because they make suits that you will have for years. They truly are masters of their craft, the quality of their work rivaled by few.
