Very easy, He posted a quote google form on his twitter and responded back to me via email for my quote. For the DTD I was provided a straight forward and easy to follow tutorial sheet for the DTD.
Communication was very good, and he always got back to me in a timely manner. I don't think I ever waited more than a few hours for a response. The initial communication was via email but was moved to telegram after the first payment. He was very pleasant to work with, cordial and professional. There was a slight delay with a fabric not arriving in time but it was communicated well and didn't effect my ETA.
I was surprised with how quick the completion time was. There were 11 suits in front of me at the time of commissioning and I was on the queue for only around 5 months before my suit was finished. The timeline I was given was accurate, and was shipped in a timely manner. Tracking was provided as well as the suit being sent with a apple airtag That I was able to keep for a small fee. DHL was the shipping service used and he arrived on time.
I am incredibly happy with how the suit turned out as a whole. I have no issues with anything in terms of quality or aesthetics. The suit met exceeded my expectation and was worth the price. All the pieces of the fursuit fit together nearly seamlessly and the items seem like they will last a long time. All the seams are very neatly sewn, the markings keep their shape, the colors are consistent. Everything fits correctly and looks very nice when worn together. The suit is consistent with my makers style based on previous projects.
The head is very comfortable with extra room for glasses underneath. It's lined with lycra which has made cleaning easier. The ventilation is fair, I don't get overheated in the head and my glasses don't fog up very often. The vision is very good outside of the normal blind spot, the mesh that was used is very clear to see out of.
The head is perfectly symmetrical in terms of markings and sculpt, and the markings match the reference sheet perfectly. The shaving is very smooth with no bald spots, and the transition of fur lengths between the face and the sideburns/hair is very clean. The fur itself is incredibly soft and brushes down well. I'm very satisfied with how the head looks, There was great attention to detail of the pompadour hair style shape as well as the anatomy of my characters muzzle shape. The head has follow me eyes that work very well as well as a pair of magnetic eyelids, So there are a lot of variety in terms of expressions.
The bodysuit fits perfectly and is very form fitting. It's relatively comfortable and I'm able to move around well. It's very durable, multiple seams were finished with a surged stitch and the sewing overall is very neat and strong. The interior of the suit is mostly is the backing of the fur, but the zippers do have a lining. (for the bodysuit, and the tail attachment) The attached digi feet also are lined with a quilted fabric from the body suit's ankle down to the foot. The thigh padding is in the form of removable pillows, the rear padding is sewn in, and the ankle/foot paw padding is removable stuffing that can be reached from hidden zippers on the back of each ankle. I would consider the body suit to have a normal amount of airflow for a digi body suit.
The body is very symmetrical and they match the character design. The shaving is very clean and the variation of fur lengths is very nice and were exactly what I was looking for. The fur is very soft and is easily brushed. I'm very happy with the body suit's look the shape of the padding is very nicely done. It matches the concept art well, and I am very pleased.
The hands fit very well and are very mobile, and they stay on the hands well. There are escape holes in the wrist to allow for easy access to my hands without taking the paw completely off. The seams are cleanly sewn and very durable. the interior is the backing of the fur with removable lycra padding for each of the fingers for easy washing. the cuff of the wrist is lined with minky for a very clean finish.
The paws are very visually pleasing with the fingers being proportional to each other and the paw pads and claws being evenly placed. The palms and fingers have a shorter shave which has a very nice visual appeal. The fur is very soft and easily brushed. The paw pads are minky and the claws are a holographic spandex material. They match my concept art and I really enjoy how they look
The tail is comfortable and zips onto the body suit for a clean transition. There are also belt loops on the base of the tail for partial suiting. The seams are very strong.
The tail is symmetrical and match the character design. I don't think there's shaving on the tail but the fur length is very nice, the fur is very soft and easily brushed. The tail matches my concept art and I am very happy with the outcome.
